The most recent close-miss was seen as a warning of things to come by those advocating a unified human being effort to deflect incoming meteors. Recent advances in space-based telescopes have made Earthlings more aware of a swarm of asteroids, or "near-earth objects". Initiatives to find and monitor meteors are a priority at National Aeronautics and Space Administration, which hopes further study offers clues about how to stay away from an impact disaster. America’s space program has an executive order to develop a plan for sending astronauts to a neighborhood asteroid. A National Aeronautics and Space Administration contractor said it might be possible by 2019.This is a very scary news because our planet Earth is involved and we may be involved in the danger of the asteroids hitting us.I hope that NASA will be able to do something about the asteroids not hitting us.
