It often feels like there is nothing as refreshing to a body and soul as having a good day. A day where everything seems right. Some of those days even come close to topping out as absolutely perfect. Bright, cloudless sunshine…both inside and outside of us.
Fortunately, not every day of our life is like that. I say “fortunately” because if every day of our existence was perfect and without challenges then we would never learn much. The “bad” days of darkness, however, always manage to show up to help balance the scales.
When times seem to be at their most dismal and dark clouds fill the horizon, then is the time to really watch for that ray of light that is certain to break through.
As difficult as it may be, try and maintain a positive outlook during the funky periods. Those spells of darkness can really make you appreciate and embrace the good times.
