I often sit and wonder what would Humans do in the event of an alien invasion?

I guess that would have to depend upon the invaders.

If the invaders were of a warlike species then they would most likely set up an independence day scenario. They would arrive and start an arial campaign to gain air superiority.

Once that has been accomplished then they would set up for a ground assault wiping out any and all remaining opposition.

Humans would find very early on that their weapons are no match to the superior technology of alien weaponry. Human beings would have to form small militia style groups of people and move underground. They would most likely use smaller guerrilla tactics to attack the invading force. Guerilla tactics have been used by Humans for centuries giving a smaller out manned force the advantage over a larger technologically superior force.

The above has been shown on the new television show "Falling Skies",and upon a few documentaries.

Another more likely scenario is that the Invaders introduce a chemical agent into our food and water supply. They would then sit back and wait for the agent to run its course. They would be able to move right in with little if any opposition.

Former U.S. President Ronald Regan seemed to know something, He was quoted 3 times mentioning Alien Invaders.

He made almost the same comment on many occasions

Media lately has been really promoting the invasion from space angle.

It is almost if they are preparing us for an alien invasion.

There have been alien invasion style movies galore!

It could be just Hollywood or it could be a public readiness tactic.

They have been using this tactic since the 1940's and its been done through books magazines movies and every other form of Media. So one must ask themselves WHY? I think the reason is pretty obvious. Believers these days outnumber the skeptics. What this means is that the public is READY now more than ever before to accept the fact that we are not alone in the universe. Something I wish NASA never did was to send the Voyager probe out with universal greetings a map to our home world and schematics of our Human physiology . This may be a big mistake if the wrong species gets a hold of that we would be screwed. But in fact we may already be.

One thing is for sure. Ronald Regan knew something was coming. And that something may be looming on our horizon.
