A California witness took two photographs of a glowing, hovering object at San Francisco International Airport that quickly vanished, according to September 21, 2011, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
"As soon as I took the first picture, the object darted to the second position," the witness stated. "I snapped the second picture as soon as the camera would allow - about 1 second. The object then appeared to vanish."
The witness submitted Image # 1 and Image # 2.

The MUFON report was submitted on September 21, 2011. The events occurred on September 9, 2011, at 9:15 PST, although the witness does not specify a.m. or p.m. in the public portion of the report. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
California is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. California had 127 reports in August 2011 - the highest reporting state in the nation.
