Your Body Needs To Sleep To Experience Astral Projection

I feel the need to address this issue because I find so many people may gotten to experience of astral projection all wrong.

Here are some of the questions:

“Why do I feel numb when I’m trying to astral project?”

“If I feel an itch, should I scratch it?”

“Should I try to slow my breathing down or maybe try breathing through my mouth to help me relax?”

“Would a yoga lotus pose be a better position?”

Now, let me say this…

If you are aware of the itch, the numbness creeping up on you, the rise and fall of your chest, the blocked circulation down your legs, the chill in the air, the barking of the dog outside your room door…

If you know all these are happening in and around you…

Then, my friend, you are not going to experience astral projection.

Astral Projection is only possible when your body is asleep. This means that all your five sense are not aware of the itch, the breathing, the numbness or the dog.

You need to be fully asleep to experience astral projection. And when you sleep every night, you don’t think about how you should be breathing or the position your body should be in.

When we fall asleep every night, that is when we start to astral project. We are naturals at projecting. If you concentrate too hard on experiencing astral projection, you will never get to travel because your mind will be too actively awake wondering about everything else BUT astral projection :)

Astral projection is about keeping your mind aware that your body is asleep. So as you slip into the astral world, you stop worrying about everything else. Prepare for your sleep like you normally do. Allow yourself to drift into dreamland but keep your mind awake and aware as your body falls asleep.

This may not sound easy but with practice and the right tools, you’ll be astral projecting all the time and dreams will no longer be just dreams.

So toss and turn, stretch and scratch all you want, do everything you normally do before you sleep, it’s okay.

Experts advise that if you are having trouble slipping into deep relaxation, try doing everything you do right before you sleep, but do it in the morning or during the day. If you are one of those who tend to dream more during a short afternoon nap, it’s probably a better time for you to try this out.

Let me know how it goes.

My advice is this: Don’t ask yourself too many questions while trying to astral project. Just do it. The moment you ask if what you’re doing is right or wrong…well…it’s not working.
