Dear Members and Visitors:

I’ve been wanting to do a forum on a supposedly past military project called “Project SERPO” for some time now. My only hold up has been the fact a book would have to be written about it to cover all the aspects. If you were already familiar with it a simple forum would serve great as a reminder and the forum would serve it’s purpose. If you were not familiar with it, I would have to write a couple of pages just to fill you in, and then you would still have to do additional reading on the side if you wanted the whole story.

There was never concrete evidence for or against the validity of this story. Most EVERYONE has come to the conclusion that it was a “hoax” though. It so happens this story was going on before anyone knew what to believe when I started following it. On a personal note, this story is what got me back into Ufology after about a 10-yr hiatus though.

Anyway, I’ve decided to meet everyone half-way on this. I’m going to do a short summary of the basics, if you find it interesting enough to pursue, I’m providing links toward the bottom of the page that will go into more details and specifics. If you want to be more knowledgeable about UFO history, you need to at least read the summary and familiarize yourself with this.

Here we go now, got your seat belts on? Supposedly, there was one alien survivor remaining in the infamous Roswell UFO crash back in the late 1940’s. He also had a way of communication back to his home planet, which was supposedly in the binary star system of Zeta Reticuli. (The word supposedly will no longer be used as all of this is considered “supposedly” until proven as fact.) The alien coordinated a “rescue mission” with his comrades. and upon arrival, the two species got along peacefully. I remember reading somewhere the transit time to earth from their planet Serpo was to be a 2-3 year time frame, plus there was some kind of miscomunication as to the “pick-up“ date. But upon arrival, the two species got along peacefully. As the story goes, we worked out an exchange program with the Serpo(ian’s?) and 12 of our astronauts went to Serpo and a hand-full of their members stayed behind here on earth.

This all occurred between the years of 1965 and 1978. Supposedly, there were only around half of the original 12 Americans that left on the mission who actually returned. That caused problems at first, needless to say. The surviving astronauts confirmed there was no wrong doing on anyone’s part and the matter was worked out.

As this is a story that still has news come out on it in the UFO community, I would highly recommend reading some of the links below. I’ve tried to list them in an organized manner to make it as organized for you as much as I can. Please let me know what you think about this so everyone can learn from each others different points of view.
