Aliens and Abductions2008 Year in Review - Januaryby Bobby Morrison (Copyright © 2009 Bobby Morrison)

Late January 2008, it's time for the Denver National Western Stock Show & Rodeo. The wife and I are certainly not cowboys or cowgirls, but we do enjoy a good rodeo, and I seldom miss the chance to visit the annual event in Denver, Colorado.
We arrived home from the rodeo at about 6pm after attending the afternoon show. Lights out about 8pm, and I slept sound until 9:25pm. I awoke because I had been dreaming of two aliens, each one pulling on an arm attempting to get me out of bed. The dream was very horrifying, seeing these goons in front of me, but the worst part was, it was not a dream. I awoke to find these two bastards actually trying to get me in a sitting position on the side of my bed. I immediately screamed:
"GET YOUR GRUBBY HANDS OFF OF ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT"
I had apparently been thrashing around attempting to break free from their grip before I actually woke up to find this dream had become reality. Wow, what a reality show this was! They immediately broke free upon my waking up, and as I lay in bed, cold chills overcame my entire body as I realized they were still there, it's just I could not see them. I could definitely feel their presence, and could feel their eyes gazing at me wondering what the hell just happened to me.
How could this human wake up after we sedated him? I asked myself the same question. How was I able to pull myself out of this induced state of sedation? I had no answer for that, but was certainly glad I did.
I don't know how long I stayed awake, but it was many hours. I was afraid to fall back asleep, and who wouldn't be? When taking a shower later in the morning, I found bruising on both arms, which confirmed I must have been struggling with the bastards to break free from their grasp.
A quick thought on bruises on the arms. I remember for years past waking up with bruises on either one or both of my arms. Most of the time I did not even pay much attention to them, as it was normal for this to happen to me. Often my wife would say, what happened to your arm(s) and I would retort, I don't know, I must have scratched myself during the night. I never gave it any thought, any serious thought, I just assumed that I was doing something to get these bruises. But in the last month or so, I have paid special attention to my arms before I go to bed. I carefully examine them for any bruising and seeing none, wonder what might happen during the night if I found them in the morning. If you have read any of these ramblings, you will see that I mention bruising when it happens. It does not happen often, I would say about every 7-9 days, but it happens regularly.
And now to the most amazing part of this failed abduction.
This particular incident is one of three that was quite different than any other, in that something happened I cannot explain and never will be able to explain.
While I was lying in bed knocked out, before waking up, I saw myself in bed with an alien pulling on each arm. I was several feet above the bed watching the entire episode take place. Each alien was using both of their arms trying to get me in a sitting position or trying to get me in a standing position. I had both legs over the side of the bed, but was only half sitting while they were both pulling on my arms. And I'm watching this happen! How this possible? How can I see myself in bed with one of the bastards pulling on my arms? This makes no sense to me. This event turned out to be the first of three where I saw myself in bed during an abduction.
I have never believed in the spiritual sense of a body and a spirit being two separate entities. In fact, I did not believe in humans as having a spirit. What did I just witness I asked myself. If I don't believe in spirits, how could I have just watched these bastards trying to get me out of bed?
I can now say that I believe aliens only take the body, and leave the spirit behind. Witnessing these incidents gives me a different outlook on life, in that I must believe in the human body having a spirit. The aliens only need the body, and perhaps they have no control over the spirit. Once they start the abduction, the spirit simply leaves the body and once the body is returned, the spirit reunites with the body and this is the point at which the person suddenly wakes up. Just like after returning from abductions; suddenly my eyes just pop open like a switch was just thrown.
Near the end of January 2008, a Monday evening is one of the most memorable periods of time in my life, and my wife's life too. The night was not only horrible, but satisfying, and the following explanation will reveal why I use both terms to describe an abduction event.
