As an art history student, she has had a life-long fascination with Leonardo DaVinci and also with studying the ancient mysteries. Since her church has a long tradition about Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the Dan Brown book was not new information to her. "The DaVinci Code" aside, here are more clues in the work of Leonardo to ponder. Email Mary Alice Bennett.

 Panther Encounter in Maryland |
The witness to this sighting now lives in the Rocky Mountains of the Southwest in the USA. He hunts red beryl crystals up there and has seen one of the large golden lights similar to the Phoenix Lights in the daylight. During a camping trip he heard the scream of an otherworldly creature which emptied a full campground by morning. His run-in with a Paranormal Panther took place when he lived closer to the Appalachian Mountains of the eastern United States in October of 1953. Here it is written in his own words:
"The location of the sighting was near the outer city limits of Cumberland, Maryland west of the town place called "The Narrows" or "Lovers` Leap" where U.S. 40 goes through the Southside of the Narrows at Haystack Mountain. The encounter took place at the northeast corner of the mountain close to town but in a very rugged area by the tracks south of Wills Creek."
"I was coming back from squirrel hunting on the north end of Haystack Mt. It was October – nice weather and good light. I was just strolling along with my shotgun. The big cat and I ambushed one another fifteen or more seconds. He was no more than ten yards away. He had a long black tail and was as black as the inside of a coal mine."
"It was not a house cat, coyote, salamander, tree frog, or opossum. It was either a panther or something that was pretending to be a panther. I told three people, my brother, my best friend (who is now gone), and my aunt (who is also now gone)."
