I stared at the window pane. Suddenly, it hit me like a bolt of lightning! What I saw was a reflection, which meant it came from the kitchen. When it reappeared, I watched. It was creeping off to my left, almost behind me. The dark shape had a slender frame, much like my youngest daughter, Kelley. Maybe, it was Kelley wearing some kind of costume.
As the creature came closer, it looked up. It was not Kelley! Its head was the shape of a football. It appeared startled when it knew I was watching it. I glanced away for a moment to gather my thoughts. Instead of being afraid, I felt ‘annoyed.’ I knew it was not a normal feeling. In fact, I should be terrified. I needed to know what it was and where it came from. Did the creature come from another planet or another dimension? A light flashed off to my right. Whatever it was had vanished through a portal.
Would it return?
YES! Quite recently, as a matter-of-fact! Its image was captured in an infrared photograph. It’s not a clear picture, but one to confirm that things do go bump in the dark.
