48 Years Later - Many Questions Remain
Science, to be science, must be repeatable. LB's theory is not repeatable, nor can it be science.
And how would such an "optical illusion" work, physiologically?
How does a single, round, purple mercury light turn into a silvery, rectangular object with 8-10 windows and white light coming from them?
How does it move across my eye's area of vision?
Would it happen in the retina?
How about the occipital cortex?
How could we trust our vision if such tricks were often played on us by our eyes?
How could we have survived as a species if the sun, moon, and stars were often changing into moving illusions?
We couldn't. Our ancestors would have "snuffed themselves out" thousands or millions of years ago, chasing after illusions day and night.
What I saw was real, and it was amazing!
And it remains AMAZING almost to the day or, rather, I should say:
"Almost to the night"...48 years later.
