During the production of the book, Hoyle had is own encounters. On one occasion, all his equipment stopped working - including his camera, flash kit and laptop computer - while shooting a scene inside a haunted mansion of New Orleans. This was a phenomenon Hoyle was at pains to explain.
'I can't explain it. All I know is everything stopped working within succession of each other during the same night and I have no idea why. That was pretty scary for me and not only because I missed out on some great shots!'
Hoyle is a commercial photographer with international recognition. He shoots for editorial, entertainment and advertising clients worldwide such as Rolling Stone, Esquire, New York Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, ESPN, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis, and FCB.
