We deal with individuals neither cogs in neither a machine nor a number in the system. Everyone is of significance and has a gift to be developed. Instead of a life of poverty consciousness, why not lives a life of abundance as stated in John 10:10.
The Church needs to give up the divide and conquer mentality. To set up an "us versus them" mentality defeats the purpose of developing positive relationships. Attraction rather than promotion goes a lot further.
Two things are needed by the Church. One is to discern between what is good and what rubbish is. The second is to be less concerned about life after death and show some interest in life before death.
Mankind, secular or religious, has achieved some noble things in it history. Yet mediocrity seems to be more accepted over time. The church, like the rest of us, needs to realize there are only two things to do in life, get busy living or get busy dying.
