Art Champoux has been an UFO investigator since 1964. He have worked with Ray Fowler, Walter Webb, John Keel, a lady that he can not name, and several different UFO groups. In the 1960s he was with APRO, CAPER, NIACP, then when APRO went out he was with NICAP and then APRO, Now he is with MUFON. The world of the paranormal has always fascinated him as even as a small boy he had some eerie happenings. His Great grandmother was a spirit medium so maybe he has inherited something. He is a hypnotist and has written for several publications and his leanings are much like John Keels. He beleives there is an ultra force, not from outer space, but much like John's and even Jaques Vallees' contention...we are but one dimension out of many that reign on this planet.

The more I dug into it, by researching through the library and discovering the dates of the installation of the poles. it seemed to be well planned. The last piece of the puzzle was that the entire project was finished the day before the blackout of 1965!
It probably meant nothing but other things seemed to add up. The Saturday before the blackout Betty and Barney Hill did a talk at a church in the next town over in Dover, NH. In that talk they said there was a pending threat and that the aliens would do something spectacular within the next two weeks.
What did they know?
Now let us think about this. The Pease Air Force Base must have known about this some months in advance. How? Why? That I do not know and never will. But that Monday the work was done. The next day, Tuesday at about 4:30 all the power was out on the Northeast of America and parts of Canada! Was this a coincidence? If it was it was an amazing one! So if all this synchronicity was happening by itself that would be stranger then if there were little green men helping them put up the wires. But one last thing, this was a high level AFB that was equipped to land a space shuttle and store nuclear weapons, so if the blackout was caused by extraterrestrials why did they wait as long as they did?
Another interesting point I was suspicion of was why was the barbed wire put up. I went back with my car and parked on the other side of the road took, got my bow out of the car and leaned it on the fence as I got my hunting clothes out and got ready to hunt on the otherside of the road. In only five to ten minutes two jeeps approached with Air Force base personnel to discover what was leaning on the fence.
I told them I was sorry about leaning my bow on their fence and they told me not to do it again. But guess what? My Recurve bow is all wood! So there would be no electric charge going to the fence. I guessed the fence was sensitive to pressure or weight. But another point. Pease had been up there for years with old wire. In fact the wire hanging down with the poles in bad condition and so on. So why then? So why was it completed one day before the 1965 Blackout?
Unfortunately, John Fuller never got to write that book. Pease AFB and their new wire would have been an interesting chapter, since officially UFOS do not exist!
