I managed to hold the camera steady while I took a few pictures of the branches. Then, I stepped further into the backyard. I turned on the flashlight to see if there was anything there. Nothing! Yet, just because I can not see it, does not mean a darn thing. I snapped a few pictures illuminating the backyard with the red flash.
The sound of the dogs had dissipated. I felt more relaxed. Whatever had stirred them up was gone. I turned and began walking back towards the front of the house. When I came up to the green branches, I noticed they no longer appeared too green.
A few days later, I uploaded the pictures on the main computer. At first, none of the pictures revealed anything, except for one. Naturally, it was the picture I had taken of the green-lit branches. An object became noticeable above the branches floating in the background after I adjusted the contrast and brightness settings. I believe this object is called an ‘orb.’ It resembles a small version of the full moon.
I shared this photo with several friends. I thought it might ‘freak’ them out. Instead, they acquired an interest in becoming an amateur night photographer, like me. Only time will tell if they discover anything floating and causing mischief in their neck of the woods.
