AN ILLUSION: YES OR NOPart 2

Sometimes, it is difficult to draw a line between illusions or imagination depending on what one sees. Have you ever heard the expression, 'don't let your imagination get the best of you?' Fleeting shadows and pillows of smoke provide room for one's imagination to grow. Add some unexplainable noise, and one might be leaping out of one's skin. A few years ago, I witnessed a creature which was not a shadow or a wisp of smoke, sitting at the foot of my bed. It was early afternoon and I had entered the bedroom to straighten my dresser. It simply appeared out of thin air watching me. The creature had short, brown fur and resembled a large house cat. It blinked its brown eyes as it continued to look at me. It had wings which were folded on its back. I glanced away for just a second and it was gone.
Seeing an unexplainable object is how it was for Aaron in March, 2000. Aaron was fifteen years old and enjoying his Spring break. It was around 6:30 a.m., when Aaron heard a weird animal sound. He glanced out the upstairs window and caught a glimpse of something silver in the neighbor's back yard. It was a silver disc-shaped object about two feet in length hovering just above the treetops. Aaron blinked several times believing he was half-asleep. The object frightened him, because of it moved slowly, as if searching for something or someone.
I remember Aaron running down the stairs and telling me about it. Of course, I went outside to take a look but I did not see anything. Later, in the afternoon, I had turned on the television and heard a short blurb about a traffic news team in a helicopter with video footage of a small UFO. Immediately, I thought about what Aaron had seen that morning. I never heard anything more about that particular story, since it never aired.
As I have mentioned in previous stories, I seem to have a fascination of taking pictures at night. I guess I was hoping to capture another UFO or unexplained presence. Well, I captured something new. Once again, it was completely dark. The image did not appear, until I adjusted the brightness and contrast settings. The triangle of green light was not revealed until the adjustments were made. So, why was it hidden in a cloak of darkness? If an illusion, what created it?
Below are the two pictures:
