Is There A God The Mother?

The Goddess Kali

Mother Goddess has had several names over the eons such as Dayine and Kali. Several functions have been attributed to Mother Goddess such as a warrior or nurturer and so on. It must depend on how and why an individual seeks her out.

Too many religions in our world make it too hard if impossible for a woman to become more than just second class citizens and become equals of men. I'd like to see Goddess faiths help women gain equality throughout our world: it would open up different roles for women within established religions.
