I just got home from a meeting in Bowling Green where we had an open
forum meeting regarding paranormal research. We are people who enjoy
exploring the unknown. We were all into what others call the
supernatural and some call the metaphysical or other than physical. We
are interested in energy, kinetic, and of unknown origins. We have
all experienced UFOs and believe in extra terrestrials. This is a
group who wants to research and investigate more than UFOs and Ghosts.
I am an Investigative Reporter and syndicated columnist, basically a
journalist. I went to share in the future hoping to unravel some of
the unknown that surrounds me.
This is the beginning of a group that wants to have fun on field trips
as a paranormal research team. There are no smokers and drinkers so
this is a non-smoking, drinking group. We were all known in other
groups including the MUFON meeting held monthly in Bowling Green.
MUFON is held the third Thursday and the IRIS meeting is held the
fourth weekend.
This new meeting for me was part of the Ascension Center, ACE
Folk Life, Paranormal Information Network, about every other group that
has something to do with the supernatural, metaphysical, spiritual,
strange phenomena, ghosts, and UFOs. The only problem was that there
is so much to investigate and research in Kentucky we are not sure
what field research to begin with for a field trip.
We discussed the equipment we would want to bring along and all the
many places in Kentucky dealing with myths, legends, haunting, and
included in paranormal tourism. One thing we could all agree on was
that we are all researchers, investigators, and love mysteries.
Another area we are all interested in is energy. The latest updates on
apparitions and supernatural phenomena reporting can be discussed and
shared not only via the Internet now but also in person. There are
many people who have groups that meet in various locations around the
world and to many this is just one more.
However, there was seemingly enough people outside the glass walled
meeting room looking in that made me that more inquisitive about
people in general. I still find that anthropology is just as
intriguing. There are people like me that have had life changing
experiences of one kind or another and everyone in the room had
extraordinary experiences. This professional group of people had all
owned businesses as entrepreneurs. We all wanted a chance to get away
from all the people that we support in the paranormal UFO community
simply to share our information and points of view on all the strange
happenings in Kentucky. This is what makes us unique to the world is
our location.
The speaker led off with "Something has brought us all together here
in Kentucky!"
We all knew each other so there was no need in introductions this
first open forum meeting for brainstorming our new name, new mission,
and monthly meeting organization. This was to come together for
fellowship, organization, and to discuss what we would like to
accomplish. It turned out to be that we wanted to explore Kentucky
together and to document our research.
