Yes, there seem to be alot of apocalyptic notions involving the human race, and many ENTIRE civilizations have come and gone, but I beleive it is good, there is a balance, you need both good and evil, light and dark, love and hate etc to maintain balance so existence is not completley one sided, there would be no contrast or measure of anything if 2two sides did not oppose equally. The fact that We could all be destroyed or destroy ourselves is an insurance policy that We need to really watch ourselves and eachother so that we may all coexist in the same universe or else. But if a comet crashes down or Satan decides to end all time then thats that. end of story, and thats just the way it goes, was fun while it lasted...and Siskerez..You will be waiting a long..long time..Chris

there is alot to learn from our past and even though alot of it does not make complete sence, the fact remains it would not have been doccumented if it did not have a significant meaning. i am refering to the sumerians with their clear understanding of our soalr system, the distance of all the planets and their exact size in relation to each other ( http://www.forbiddenhistory.info/files/sumerian_tablet.jpg ), according to them the knowledge came from people of a nother planet.... my point being considdering that our full understanding of the truth is only narrow, we can't discredit cultures and there teachings that in some cases is based upon thousands of years of doccumentation... like the mya. there 2012 prediction is based on passed events and there is a reason the clock resets there. the 3 pyramids in egypt was also built upon a prophecy of an apocolyptic event, was built way before all the other pyramids and was far superior than any of the pyramids built after, they survived the great flood. now my question to you is how thick do you think these past cyvilisations really was?

The stories of our past were to provide socialization - and varied from place to place. Since people will believe 6 impossible things before breakfast if they are predisposed to do so - no problem. Santa Claus tells you all you need to know about that.
But a look at the perfect cluster!@#$% of our 'civilization' doesn't need much imagination to prognosticate doom. Maltheus was a piker compared to what we face today.
I got tired of sitting on top of my recollections of all the things going wrong to see what pattern could be found. I found power, empire, slavery. Those are historical norms compared to our current transient lifestyle.

Unfortunately the fate of the world is not in the hands of the common folk. We are simply slaves. As slaves it is perfectly natural for us to dream up scenarios in which our chains are permanently shattered.

As long as everyone continues to disagree on everything, the haves will continue to enforce slavery upon the have nots out of fear... unless some apocolypse occoures knocking us all down to the same level. Or some savior uplifts us all up to the same level.

The thing is that people do not like to take blame for things.. I mean look at the current situation we are in as a country. People should just accept our faults and go on to congeal. We waste time with fears! imagine if we just spent the time being afraid into a more constructive state? ha!! I would like to see that...

I think it is about time people stop running around saying, "The sky is falling!"
We need more articles like this, to make people realize we need to be responsible for our own actions and stop looking for a Deity or Aliens to blame for our end results.
