From my home in Torrington, I just spotted a large round light to the west, over Goshen. It had muted edges, but was intensely bright in the center. The light separated and became two rectangular lights which then each one moved apart and together again multiple times. I had a clear view of these objects, It was not the moon. When I turned to grab a camera, they split again and both went toward the ground on the other side of the mountain. The lights were closer to the appearance of motor vehicle headlights than planetary appearance. I heard no noise or noticed any other aircraft in the area.

I live right off Rt 4 on the Torrington/Goshen line. That animal petting farm, Action Wildlife is right up the street from me, where someone had a close up experience. I have not seen a single thing, but I will be watching the skies this summer. I am very close to Litchfield center/Rt 202. I did see a squadron of very low flying military helicopters flying in formation over my house around the first week of March 2009. They were so low they shook the house, and I could clearly make out the details on them. A week later they flew over again. I don't know what that was about.

I first want to say that I'm a complete believer in UFOs... I still question exactly where they come from (alien, multidimensional, time travel?), but I believe people are actually seeing something there. However, there are an increasing number of hoaxes being conducted in the Tri-State area here, and also there has been an increase in the air traffic over all of CT in the past few weeks.

I'm a little skeptical about this "UFO flap" in the Torrington area. We've been in touch with police, air traffic, and media contacts in the area and they've heard nothing out of the ordinary. Plus, multiple times we've sought out witnesses to speak to who feel they've seen something, however no one has come forward. Unless someone is willing to work with our Field Team so that we can collect the proper evidence and conduct a serious investigation, this is going to continue to be nothing more than hearsay.

Now with all this talk of aliens personally I dont know what to think. I live on the west side of Torrington off of Rt 202 and have a good friend of mine up here that is convinced hes seen something and keeps seeing things in the sky. I mean hes sketched to get out of his car on a regular basis to walk the 10 feet to his door, and this is a grown man im talking about.

So therefore im convinced hes smoking something. Now heres where it all gets weird. His next door neighbor is an intelligent, down to earth lady who rarely agrees with this young man...but she has seen something as well and is totally serious about it. Are these extraterrestrials real or are they just floating asian festive things that did not burn out yet?

On the morning of Jan 23rd at 5:20 am I was leaving for work and there was a orange-white light I stopped and got out of the truck watched for a min. or so and took out my high powered flash light and started shining at the light in about 2 min's it came towards me and it was in a shape of a triangle it went right over me and I kept flashing the light at it ( I am not afraid of this stuff just interested ) it seem to be about a half a mile up it was not huge but large oh ! I stood there long enough but there was no sound at all.

On or about Feb 17th I saw a disk shaped object to the West of Rte. 202 in Torrington, just beyond the Toll Gate Inn, at 4:30 in the afternoon, as I was heading towards Litchfield. A very bright and elongated beam was coming from the center of the object. The beam seemed to be looking for something. The object was stationary for a long time. It was difficult to make out the exact shape of the object because the sky was a misty blue and cloudy and the disk was silvery.
Also, there has been increased chemtrail activity the last last four months in the Litchfield/Torrington/Goshen area. Many jets can be seen completely crisscrossing the area, and then the next day the sky is very overcast. When the sky is overcast it is difficult to see beyond the overcast.

I read some the very interesting reports regarding this UFO case. Has anyone reported this to their state MUFON? I am in Chicago, and would love to connect with any serious and intellenget human being that has had contact with this craft or beings. This encounters are not imagination, nor are they rare any more. We just need ( as a UFO investigator, Mufon) facts to decifer what is what and to acquire as much information as possible to asess the imperative information that cases like this one provide. This is exactly what the corruptors want, a bunch of bickering between everybody so nothing gets answered. Something big is in the air an it's way past time to start noticing things. What makes things difficult is that humans were created as a slave race and here we are still being led to a cliff and jumping off of it exactly like we are supposed to do. Seriously though, if an alien civilsation is only 100 years more advanced that planet earth, their technology will be way ahead of ours, whether British or American or heaven forbid Japanese.

Do I believe in UFO's? well I'm open minded having never met an alien yet, but I do bear in mind that since Roswell, it's strange how technology has suddenly come on in leaps and bounds, miniature electronic microchips, is a prime example.

I would never mock anyone who claims to have had an alien encounter experience, however, in this day and age of technology it is mighty strange how photographs are rare despite almost every mobile (Cell) phone having a built in camera. More so when almost all children & adults are rarely seen on the streets without a cell phone stuck to their ear.

I'll remain sitting on the fence until E.T comes up and shakes my hand and introduces himself to me.

I am very interested in this story about the UFO in Torrington, Ct. I was driving through hartford around noon time on march 4th on the way back from a dentist appointment and my Suv turned off for no apparent reason while I was driving it. This did happen one other time about a week before. The wierd thing is is that it runs perfectly before and after the two incidences. I brought it to be serviced and the tec working on it called me many times to try to figure out the mystery because the car runs great and nothing was showing up. I laughed and joked with him that there was probably a ufo over my car that I didnt know about. I was quite surprised to find out that, that night not to far from where I was other people reported their cars turning off during a sighting. I have had ufo experiences in the past and was able to share my experinces with Whitly Strieber and the late john Mack. I have followed and studyed the ufo phenomena for years. I find my mysterious car problems to be quite an interesting coincidence especially if my car continues to run without another power failure incidence.

The main stream media reports what it is allowed to report by its ownership. The media has consistently debunked UFO related stories, images and videos as hoaxes. Why assume that these are spacecraft? The hard-technology/ET hypothesis has not stood up too well under scutiny, but the high strangeness aspect does hint at other, rather eerier origins.

OK-- The old "why don't they just land on the white house lawn" saying. First of all, in the 50s they did invade White House air space and subsequently fighter planes were scrambled to intercept. There are even pictures of the disks in formation right above the White House during that flap.

Second, assuming (a bit of a stretch)they traveled here from light years away, lets say on a research expedition to study humans.

When we as humans go into the wild to study or research aminals in thier habitat, we do not upon arrival announce our presence to the lions, gorillas,grizzly bears, and then expect them to behave as they would normally so we can analyze their behavior. We instead, in order to not interfere or change the animals day to day behavior, use hidden cameras, camo., long range scopes etc basically going out of our way to make sure we are not seen.

I feel if these beings are in facts here, who is to say they didn't set up base camp deep in a cave on the bottom of our ocean. Maybe they were here before us and we are in fact the new species they are trying to observe developing.

These have been well documented for more than 10 years on different continents, including about a 4 hours episode across Illinois to East St. Louis with consistent first hand accounts from at least 4 different law enforcement departments. Just a few weeks ago again there was another very credible encounter in Ohio, the triangular craft with the red light suspended or in the bottom center of the craft appearing quite well for a cell phone camera taken at night. Not necessarily extra-terrestrial, just as well probably U.S. Govt Black Ops. Reports always consistent, no sound, can move at right angles, can accelerate to miles away nearly instantly almost as if it reappears rather than traveling. Very consistent and highly credible, as yet unexplained.

UK UFOlogists have had the Chinese lantern problem muddying the waters of research for a couple of years now - as if we all didn't have enough problems already with Photoshop and CGI. Let's hope that they are a cultural fad that fades quickly.
