My take on the savior thing is simple: A savior figure comes here to Earth from time to time in our history because if left entirely to our own, it isn’t long before we become powerful or numerous enough to wipe each other out. Somehow or other, if we are meant for greater things and have divine origins, then someone or something “out there” needs to directly interfere every once in a while to “save” us from ourselves. It isn’t interference so much as it is guidance and mentorship. I’m sorry to say this, but contrary to what some people believe, divine or Extraterrestrial Beings who intervene and interject in human affairs aren’t necessarily doing so out of spite, hate, or indifference to the human race. Their actions and help can also be based on compassion and love.
Two thousand years ago, this help came in the form of a man from Nazareth. It doesn’t mean that others before him didn’t exist during similarly dark and despondent times, and it doesn’t mean that others won’t exist in the near or far future.
So what we’re getting to here is timing, and this is extremely important.
Esoterically speaking, it is believed that the beginning and end of every astrological age upon the Earth is when this figure shows up, with each age lasting approximately two thousand years. Jesus, for example, became the savior of the Piscean era by virtue of the fact that he helped usher in the age of Pisces (symbolized in turn by the fish). Jesus was a “fisher of men” who even recruited a fisherman (Peter) as one of his disciples. This astrological element is the main reason why Christianity is symbolized by a fish. Early Christians themselves even recognized each other through fish symbols drawn in the sand.
Aquarius, on the other hand, is the “we” sign of the zodiac. Its symbol is that of a man pouring a pitcher of water, with water itself symbolizing information (i.e. the Internet), resources (both natural and financial), and Love. Aquarius concerns itself more with the collective and the big picture than the individual. It can be characterized by eccentricity, genius, and true equality (or the striving of such) between all human beings and creatures of the Earth. It is both esoteric and scientific, but without the restraints and complications of either discipline. It seeks integration and reconciliation rather than confrontation and control. Clearly, with Pisces being a sign focused nearly exclusively on faith without understanding and Aquarius being concerned with knowing, we are caught in the midst of an important time period, a sort of cosmic clashing of the minds. Pisces is about to be phased out, while Aquarius will soon come into its own (having “been born” in the years 1968 or 1969). Two thousand years or so from now, Aquarius in turn will need to give up its throne to the incoming ruler of Capricorn. Every astrological age is personified or represented by an individual or savior, one who is groomed, chosen, or born for that specific period. Jesus ruled over Pisces, and a new savior will rule over Aquarius.
Now here is where it gets tricky.
Jesus may indeed soon return to save the world, but that doesn’t mean that this returning Jesus will be Jesus. In other words, the soul or entity known as Jesus might return this time around as someone having another personal identity or background. Jesus’ name this time around might be Horatio, or Jack, or Sam. And again, since Jesus himself did not create Christianity, the returning savior figure of this new age will probably have little to do with the faith itself – though the underlying message will most likely be the same. Teachers teach, while the masses understand little and create religions.
If Christianity and the Vatican wish to survive into the new age, both had better continue changing and embracing new realities – even at the risk of losing followers. This means that the Vatican had better host more ET conferences and exert greater pressure in the Disclosure movement.
In regards to this new savior of the Aquarian age, my hope is that if he came in from another planet or dimension, that he does not become aware of his true identity and purpose. I hope he lives as one of us and does his job in secret, never really revealing himself.
Why?
Because in this age, people (and the media) are all too quick in elevating (and tearing down) role models. A person truly recognized as the Christ would either be killed or torn down – possibly even by Christians themselves. We have come to a point in our evolution where we no longer need to be lead or saved by anyone. In my opinion, we simply need a map so we can find our own way. And if one man (or a fleet of spaceships) shows up at some point to provide us with that map, I hope he will be wise enough to know that it takes far less effort to guide and influence than it does to control and coerce. Somehow I get the feeling he (or they) already know this.
The person known as Christ may be here now. It seems that dozens people are claiming the title every day in articles and on radio talk shows. In their own minds, perhaps they are right. But I can say this for certain: in the end, the best person for the job isn’t the one fighting his or her way to the top of the podium. It’s usually always someone who is dead last and doesn’t want the title to begin with.
