Of course, I am stating the obvious, but, indeed, if one "can" see into the future, then does it not stand to reason that --- if only as a naturally expected consequence and an almost unavoidable conclusion, given the circumstances at hand--- would it not just stand to reason that these folks(the psychics) would be a little luckier than everyone else, especially in such things as playing the lottery?

What I mean is, I have always thought about and considered, as I am sure many of you have as well, that if a person really has any kind of psycho-spiritual ability or power that there would then be a consequent and concomitant demonstration and display of that power reflected in the events and circumstances of that person's life. Such a person, if they are truly, what one might call, "psychic," or "spiritually adept, or" if they were practicing a truly workable and applicable spiritual method or technique, would naturally begin to show some evidence of the power they ostensibly were accessing. Wouldn't they? And the answer, of course, is a qualified,"Yes!," if that person is accessing and using a substantial form of psycho0-spiritual energy. The problems come in because there is so much that is being offered "out there" as so-called "real spirituality" that is little more than tepid and lukewarm "good feelings"---- not true spirituality at all! This will produce little more than abject disappointment, which explains why people often become disenchanted with their own spiritual traditions as well as with much that is served up as spirituality. What a person needs is some reliable test, or "tests" (plural), into which they can toss their spiritual principles and methods in order to see if they truly float or not. And if you just think about it for a moment, you will see that many otherwise inconsequential and unlikely circumstances in life can provide just such a test. Indeed, one could argue that just successful "living" itself, in all of its respects, is the greatest test of all. And as true as that statement is, what I mean specifically here, in saying this, is "smaller tests," tests that you can use along the way in your life's journey to kind of serve as a check-up to let you know if the spiritual principles you are using are working properly or not. Let me elaborate:

While I understand fully that the pursuit of true spirituality has absolutely nothing at all to do with money or material possessions, or for that matter, anything else dealing with the physical realm of space and time and matter; nevertheless, physicality and physical existence represent the corporeal stage, as it were, or physical background, against which spiritual events, with their true spiritual lessons, culminating in the consequent learning and growth of the soul, play out their physical parts. These physical circumstances that we all encounter in our day to day lives are only the representations of their greater spiritual counterparts: spiritual implications, ideas, and themes. Understanding why it is that we seem to suffer, struggle, and eventually learn to overcome these problems is what gives real meaning to life and our experience of life in this world of want and woe, as well as the strength to not only endure, but ultimately claim victory over the world of space and time, bringing our conscious-awareness to a higher level of perception, awareness, and power. Through all of our corporeal struggles we come into a fuller realization that the only ultimate reality is the spiritual reality, and that all that now appears so difficult, real, and physical in our life experiences is only an illusory circumstance of a misguided, deluded, and as yet uninformed, consciousness--- our consciousness. The intent, of course, of any spiritual journey is to allow us to come to that place of mind, wherein we can say with the Master Jesus, as well as many other avatars and spiritual masters, "I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)
