 Art Champoux has been an UFO investigator since 1964. He has worked with Ray Fowler, Walter Webb, John Keel, a lady that he can not name, and several different UFO groups. In the 1960s he was with APRO, CAPER, NIACP, then when APRO went out he was with NICAP and then APRO, Now he is with MUFON. The world of the paranormal has always fascinated him as even as a small boy he had some eerie happenings. His Great grandmother was a spirit medium so maybe he has inherited something. He is a hypnotist and has written for several publications and his leanings are much like John Keels. He beleives there is an ultra force, not from outer space, but much like John's and even Jaques Vallees' contention...we are but one dimension out of many that reign on this planet.

Old UFO Sighting, reported
but not investigated by MUFON!

Being a member of MUFON for many years and doing investigations, I was used to going out at all times of the week, day or night, to investigate sightings. The time period was 1994-95 and I was meeting with Pete Geremia (who is the State Director of MUFON in New Hampshire today).
The meeting went rather well, was informative and run smoothly. At the end I was asked to investigate a case. It was in Portsmouth, New Hampshire where I lived and near a main road. He told me that it was near the high school ball field and right over an apartment house complex. It seems a man saw an object at about 2-2:30 am and it looked like a typical disk that was so near to the roof of the Apartment house it "looked like it was sitting on the flat roof." I looked at Pete and asked, which apartment? He told me the one next to the fence and right next to the parking lot.
I looked at Pete and asked him which apartment buliding was the witness in when he spotted it. He told me building 114 and the object was right on top of building 112.
Well this really interested me. Why? Because I lived on the 3rd floor of bldg 112! The object was right over top of my apartment! I told Pete that and he replied that I should just forget it, I asked why? He told me just to drop it. No one came out and he, Pete, did not do an investigation of it. Since then, Pete will not talk to me, answer me or have anything to do with me.
I often wonder about two things:
1. What was he afraid of?
2. Why did he stop using me as an investigator?
That enigma will always make me suspicious of who or what is the real enemy?
