"My First Look at "RR3"…

I liked him. He was unique; tough minded, business-like, secretive and yet gregarious. As he said, "I trust you", he got up, and went to his safe. Then he handed me the object and began the intriguing story of its history of a crash, a debt, murder, intrigue, the CIA, the Mafia, and a spook who knew too much.

The details are "Fascinating!"…if true!

Now he, the "owner," was suggesting I be in the chain of its holders. Perhaps I would become one in the lineage of the pedigree for this object's handlers formerly just made up of "intelligencia," military, scientists and now me, a UFO investigator who was ex-intelligence and a senior military police officer.

I have had enough experience in the past (during the Vietnam War) with the CIA to seriously put on my "cop's hat" at times like these (as at this point I just didn't buy into the object being genuine). I had trust for the owner, yet the story related to me left room for many in the chain of holders to tamper with the original piece…whatever that piece was.

It is always good to begin investigative questioning with the original source and I had that opportunity now.

"What information do you have that would cause me to believe your story?"

"Have any tests been done on the object?"

"Is there any scientific evidence I can look at in regards to the obvious heat, manufacture and contents of the make-up of the object?"

I insisted at this point on written reports or on speaking with someone who could give me this information.

The "owner" then directed me to the phone and I spoke with a gentleman who claimed to be an engineer and to have some knowledge of the preliminary testing, which had been done. He told me some startling things about the object. Things that certainly were not consistent with what I knew about certain materials.

I do not claim to be a scientist, however, I have been around the block enough with some well-credentialed scientists to cause me to question that this was a scientist whom I was talking to.

I had no way to know that and no credentials or background information to validate that he might know what he was talking about. He was just a man on the phone. What the man was telling me, however, I simply did not believe…but then this was supposed to be a part of the Roswell crash…that certainly would change things somewhat. Under those circumstances, "if" it were real alien material, what would be abnormal about it?

My quick internal quest proved it to be enough of a curiosity for me to accept responsibility for it. For over a year, it went with me all over the world to have scientists, labs, photographers and technicians review it.

I have investigated other pieces of material that were claimed to be from a "UFO." They had not met the expected qualifiers that would give indications that this was "as claimed"…UFO material. But this one held more promise. This was not my first hit with a so-called alien ship object, nor would it be the last.

The results were not impressive enough to convince me that this piece was extraterrestrial. Lea Macdonald's scientists found the identical results as I did with our lab in Europe. (This useless material is for sale by the owner).
