 Sam Willey is a young UFOlogist who wants to show that people of all ages can share a serious interest in UFOs. His research began in 2003 when he and two friends witnessed a Triangular shaped UFO. After two years of research Sam created a website known as Sam's UFO Files. He expanded the site back in late 2005 and it became Alienationsam.com. A pilot of a commercial airline by the name of Ray Bowyer has reported seeing two UFO’s in the sky near Guernsey. Mr. Bowyer reportedly witnessed bright yellow flat discs estimated as being twice the size of a Boeing 737 aircraft. The objects were spotted on Monday April 23rd 12 to 15 miles north east of the island which is located within the British Channel just off the coast of Normandy.
Mr Bowyer said he was "pretty shook-up" by the sighting. "This is not something you see every day of the week - it was pretty scary," he said. At first he thought it was the sun reflecting from greenhouses in Guernsey. He said the objects were bright like the sun, but did not hurt his eyes when he looked at them. The two stationary objects were also observed by other aircraft and the passengers on board the plane at the time. The Captain was flying an Aurigny plane from Alderney to Southampton when he saw the objects through binoculars.
A current spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence, said that while it does monitor air space for any unusual foreign objects which might pose a threat, they would not be carrying out an investigation in this instance.
This pilot is a very credible observer who has logged many hours of flying in his time. It is amazing to me that the MOD refuse to investigate this event considering that radar did reportedly pick-up the objects. The MOD is responsible for our defence and you would think they would want to know the origin of this unknown craft over British airspace.
