John Milor is an author of several books, and radio talk show guest for numerous programs, including the Art Bell show. His interest in understanding paranormal phenomenon began at the age of five after hearing his great grandmotherís tale of seeing a UFO hovering over the plains of Kentucky during broad daylight, shortly following the turn of the century. This story, as well as numerous otherworldly encounters of his own, fueled his quest of the unknown. His life literally became an episode of the X-Files on a number of occasions, until he reached the age of twenty one, and was visited by none other than Jesus Christ, in a vision. Since that time, Milor has become a born again Christian, yet continues to investigate paranormal phenomenon, now with a Bible in one hand,r and research documentation in the other hand. John has earned two Associates degrees and a Bachelor degree in Business, and works as a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard. He lives with his family in Fresno, California. All are invited to visit his website to read all his books; they are posted online in their entirety for free reading: http://www.AliensAndTheAntichrist.com. Why is Earth Significant in the Universe? by John Milor

Relative to the subject of extraterrestrial life, the Bible speaks of angels, which by their biblical definition are intelligent beings that are not native to Earth (at least most of them). The theological community may generally disregard my assessment that angels are synonymous with extraterrestrials, but if they are actually the same beings as I surmise, much can be learned about extraterrestrials by studying biblical information about angels, and vice versa. What's more, much can be learned about the Earth in particular, which establishes its significance as a location of paramount importance in the universe.
A question I've struggled to answer for many years of studying the Bible is when were the angels created? This question is difficult to answer because it confronts a commonly held belief that the account of creation from Genesis 1:3 through Genesis 2:25 is not an original creation of the Earth, but rather the restoration of the Earth to a habitable state, which followed after a cataclysmic flood mentioned in Genesis 1:2. As for the original creation, Genesis 1:1 says it all, end of story.
In the Beginning, God created the heaven and the Earth.
The existence of angels is first established with Satan's arrival in the Garden of Eden. For humanity it's early in life, seeing that Adam and Eve were innocent, naive, and didn't have any children yet. It's evident that Satan, however, was prowling about much longer than Adam and Eve. In Ezekiel 28:11-19 and Isaiah 14:12-14, we're told that Satan tried to lead an invasion into heaven at one time in the remote past, yet failed, and his kingdom was destroyed. If this is the case, it begs the question, did he once rule an entire kingdom, deceive his kingdom as well as many other worlds, then orchestrate a massive, interstellar invasion into the highest heaven-in less time than it took Adam and Eve to have their first male child? In short, Genesis 1:1 must refer to a complete creation of the heavens and the Earth, and everything in Genesis 1:3-2:25 is a recreation of the Earth into a habitable state, which falls within a literal six-day construct.1 Those familiar with Biblical studies call this the gap theory, referring to a gap in time between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. Regardless of one's view about the gap theory, the creation of angels and their extensive activities prior to Adam and Eve must be accounted for.
To begin with, The Hebrew word for heaven is "shamayim," meaning lofty, sky, the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve. It is found over 650 times in the Bible, and in most places, it should have been translated "heavens." God created the heavens, which includes the sun, moon, stars, and all the inhabitants of heaven and all things therein (Nehemiah 9:6). Along with the heavens, he created Earth and its inhabitants and all things therein. After that, an unknown period had transpired when angels ruled the universe. Then something happened on Earth that caused God enough anguish to obliterate it, because in Genesis 1:2 the Earth was void, and without form. This is where the flood of Lucifer comes into the picture. For those who have never heard of the flood of Lucifer, it's a very important event in Earth's ancient history that reconciles a great many questions between biblical history and archeology.
