In 1999, Talmadge published a nonfiction book she co-authored about emotional and spiritual healing resolution based on working in the energy of human consciousness. In this book, Talmadge provides an expanded definition of energy that she says demonstrates the link between matter, spirit, heart and mind.

While writing her multigenerational novel, Talmadge says she found herself drawing on her own past lives and those of her family, friends, clients and acquaintances.

The author's career as a writer began in 1976. She has been a full-time staff reporter at or freelanced for numerous media that include Business Week, the Dallas Times Herald, Forbes, the International Herald Tribune, The New York Times and Reuters America.

"I'm convinced that reading this tale will help awaken soul memories for many people and help them along their unique spiritual paths," says Talmadge, 52.
