Received the following submission that included a detailed description of the event and included the photos to the right, from Sean L., a UFODIGEST reader in Otsego, Michigan. These are arbitrary photos chosen by myself. Sean was surprrised to discover that he had captured an unknown aerial object that just seemed to hang in the night sky. As such it is a UFO (unidentified flying object).

Sean had setup his webcam to record motion in his backyard in the hope of catching some punk pranksters.

The date was April 19th 2008.

He states, "It was set to take pictures every 2 seconds when movement was recognized."

When I reviewed the images, I saw this light in the sky which I might have though was a helicopter...only, I've never seen a helicopter here before, he added.

Whatever it was up there, it was stationary and stayed in the same location hovering for apparently 84 minutes! It couldn't have been a star or planet because it hardly moved!

Sean guesses it could have been a helicopter but doesn't understand why it would hover in the night sky so long.

It was also still enough that Sean's camera was set off only 45 times in the 84 minutes.

Sean concludes his submission with, "Any ideas what the light is?"

Here is my answer:

My enhancements of his photos suggest it was a real object and after attempting to define the object I was left with an object that was solid and appears to be giving off an energy signature. But it is of an object with an undefined shape but with distinct characteristics.
