The 200,000 Year old Angel Statue supposedly found on the Moon is actually more Anti Christian than it is more Christian Propagandaby Stephen Yulish PhD  Posted: 12:20 May 8, 2009
Cristian Negureanu’s article 200,000 Year Old Statue found on the Moon, www.ufodigest.com/news/0509/statue.php which appeared on May 5, 2009 first introduced us to this mysterious angel statue purported to have been brought back from the Apollo 11 moon mission some forty years ago. Its sudden appearance was attributed to a NASA geologist by the name of Dr. Morris Charles who it is said worked for NASA for 23 years and left in 1987. This was first reported in the Weekly World News on April 27, 2009 by an Erik Van Datiken (sounds too much like Erich von Däniken of the 1968 book Chariots of the Gods?) so let us begin there.
Weekly World News is a supermarket tabloid like the National Enquirer which runs stories like

Thus, it is obviously not a reputable scientific publication such as Nature or Scientific American or Biblical Archaeology Review that should and most probably would carry such a momentous story if it were indeed based on fact. Once again, this type of story while most probably false, does unfortunately nonetheless reinforce the image of UFO investigators as crackpots. This feeling was bolstered today when the YouTube presentation describing this event was just removed. Also, I could not find a Dr. Morris Charles at NASA but did find a Dr. Charles Morris. The article also mentioned that a Dr, Miles Fredericks of New York University supposedly countered, “This is just more Christian propaganda”, but I could not locate him there either but found a Dr. Miles Frederick at Harvard Medical School. The writer obviously fabricated this ruse from elements of truth mixed with many falsehoods.
The fictitious Dr. Frederick’s comment that this was just more “Christian propaganda” was probably because there was an “angel” and the writer wanted to soothe his non religious readers. This entire article is actually anti Christian propaganda as I shall explain.
Negureanu then digressed as he always does to speak of Zechariah Sitchin’s book 12th Planet where he speaks of the ancient Sumerians being visited by the other worldly, winged Anunnaki whom they worshipped as Gods. Negureanu then postulated that “maybe the Sumerians were visited by these moon angelic winged beings who might have carved their own images into the moon rocks”. People like the pseudonym Van Datiken or Negureanu who probably deny the Bible or the God of the Bible always seek a creation and ultimate meaning from some otherworldly godlike figures. I have written extensively that so called extraterrestrials are not gods but are in actuality fallen angels with horrific objectives for humans (www.ufodigest.com./news/1206/deception.html.
First of all, there is no scientific or archaeological or historical research describing these Anunnaki and their relationship to the ancient Sumerians. I have degrees in Anthropology and in History and never heard of them until I entered the UFO community where people are always stretching the truth to try and explain the unexplained. People like Negureanu look at ancient paintings and artifacts and always see otherworldly images like spacesuits and spaceships.
