And to call this image a female angel also creates problems. All of the angels and archangels in the Bible are male. What winged entities were female? Thus both the location as well as the age of this artifact and its gender go against the Bible and are anti-Christian propaganda.

So what we have here is a supposed 200,000 year old artifact determined by an unknown dating process, from an unknown extraterrestrial culture, bearing the image of an unheard of female angel entity appearing in a supermarket tabloid and I am supposed to get excited? My momma didn’t raise no fool you know. I now have a Christian forgiving heart thanks to Jesus but I still have a skeptical Jewish brain. This has phony written all over it, but it does have meaning. Here is the rest of the story.

It actually has more meaning than the original fabrication believe it or not. In my mind at least, it is all about Lilith, the Hebrew winged night demon whose image I have attached from a necklace alongside that of the supposed angel figure from the moon. Both of them are indeed females with wings, long hair and their hands clasped in front. This is not a coincidence I would venture to say. I am not saying that Lilith lives on the Moon either. All that I am trying to say is that the writer Van Datiken is mired in the legend of Lilith type demons and was trying to postulate a fictional episode to discredit the Bible whether consciously or not.

Lilith if you remember (www.ufodigest.com/news/1107/ufosandlilith.html ) is described in Robert Graves’s book Hebrew Myths and Raphael Patai’s book The Hebrew Goddess. She is described in the Bible book of Isaiah of 700 BC as the night demon. She is also found five hundred years later in the Dead Sea Scroll Songs of the Sages and in the Talmud 600 years later and in the later Zohar but it is the Midrash Alpha Ben Sira of 800 AD that describes her best. She was purportedly created from the earth just like Adam but from filth and sewage ground not the clean dirt that Adam was created from. Her subsequent mating with Adam created innumerable diseases that still plague mankind even today. She also refused to be subservient to Adam and lie beneath him during lovemaking. She became enraged and flew away. Adam complained to God and He sent three angels to retrieve her; Senoy, Sansenoy and Samangelof but she refused. She remained to now kill newborn boys until their circumcision on the 8th day and girls until their 20th day. Orthodox Jewish women wear amulets to this day with the names of these three angels to ward off the evil eye of Lilith. She is also seen as the premier succubus that attaches herself to men and causes them to go astray. She is thus the archetypal feminist, temptress and baby killer.

Her image has been on the Western Façade of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris since 1210 AD. She is also mentioned in Milton’s Paradise Lost of 1667, Goethe’s Faust of 1808, Robert Browning’s poem of 1883, and even Aleister Crowley’s Arte Magica. As mentioned in the article above, she has also been associated with some UFO sightings.

It wards of not only extraterrestrial fallen angels but Lilith as well. Stick with the word of God and you shall remain free from attack and abductions.
