"Like You, You Probably Were Abducted . . ."

“We probably both were."That’s what my dear husband calmly said to me the other night. We were watching some program on UFOs, and “George" says to me that I’m a skeptic, “Like you refusing to say you’ve been abducted; even though you probably have been." “Like we probably both were." George comes up with remarks like this occasionally, just drops, out of the blue, startling comments about something to do with us and UFOs.

“But we don’t know that, so we can’t say that." "That guy who’s trying to get you to admit you’re an abductee; well, you can’t, neither one of us can, we don’t know." He means Jeremy Vaeni, who has tried to get me to say on his podcasts that I’m an abductee, which I’ve refused to do since I don’t have any memories of being abducted; even if I did, I’d be suspicious of interpreting the events literally.)

George went on to ask me if I’ve thought about being regressed. I told him it was curious he mentioned this, since the past couple of weeks I’ve been seriously entertaining the idea. Kind of. Maybe.

He says he’d be willing to as well, in a maybe/sort of way. But he has strict ideas about how it’s to go, if he does it at all. We’d have to be interviewed separately, compare notes after the fact, the person would have to be very good at what they do . . . And even then, he wouldn’t trust what came up. Either would I.

Oddly enough, George is more curious about what happened in Los Angeles, and in particular, a missing time episode when we were together, whereas I’m more curious about the sighting (s) here in Oregon. (The image shown here is of the field where we both saw a silver spinning, hovering, UFO emitting a beam of light not far off the ground.) Of course, we’re both curious about the whole damn thing; our whole life long experience with UFOs and the paranormal in general.

We discussed the aftermath of hypnosis. Okay, then what? So we find out, say, we’ve been abducted. Or remember that we think we’ve been abducted. So we now have “proof" that aliens whisked us away. Now what? We still have to go about our lives. Everything normal; work and bills and feeding the cats doesn't stop because you’re an abductee. You still have to operate in the mundane world as if nothing bizarre has happened.

We also both acknowledged we’re scared. I don’t want to find out there really are aliens abducting people, or the military, or that we’re crazy, or . . . whatever it is, it’s something dark and strange and weird and all the research and self-reflexive work we’ve been doing hasn’t done much in the way of getting rid of that anxiety.

Dream of Invisible Aliens and Childhood Home

Two nights after our conversation, I had a dream about UFOs.

Since that conversation, I’d been pushing away the thought that memories of those unusual events: missing time, UFO sightings, and so on could be consciously retrieved with intention and mediation. I was thinking about this very deeply as I lay in bed.

The dream was downright creepy. Both George and I are back at the home I grew up in, and where we lived when we were first together. (Many of my UFO dreams take place in this setting, including dreams of me as a child.) The aliens (grays) are here in the house, and out in the street, but I can’t see them. I just know for a fact they’re here. I feel their presence, I know . .. I can “see" them in my mind’s eye, but not literally. (In fact, this theme of “invisible aliens" comes up again and again -- I can’t see the aliens or beings, but I know, without a doubt, they’re here.)
