Hi Robert: It's EM. Prefacing the points I'll be making, I'd like to visit or revisit my approach to data. I was never a journalist (although my younger brother, for years, was an overseas staff news photograper for ABC), so I don't seek out extra-source verification. I am not a scientist, so I don't look for repeatable data or procedures to support a theory or thesis. I am (but I think this was instinctive) a firm adherent to the concept of OCCAM'S RAZOR. Over time, I have experienced confirmation that the simple answer is usually the correct answer. Having said that, I've also noticed that when an answer has been "massaged", it is almost always distorted, and more often than not, the truth is virtually absent from the report. Ultimately, my approach has been to be an information sponge, assigning a loose valuation to data, while waiting for data to repeat or establish discernable patterns. Unless proven wrong in a definitive way, I don't disallow or remove any data. Having said all that, I'd like to review some data recollections with you. Some will be old hat, but perhaps some will fill some gaps in your overview. Mar 08/57 - On page 2 of part 1 of the Keyhoe/Wallace report, a brief reference was made to a "Canadian official project - Project Magnet" carried out at Shirley Bay, Ont. What doesn't emerge from this brief mention is that Shirley Bay was (and is) a vast Communication Research Center, that was home to Ma Bell's (Bell Labs) Northern Telecom research. Yes, this research lab morphed into NORTEL, the publicly traded company. In it's day, at least into the '80s it is now my belief that it was a "safe house" for the NSA. If I am correct, that would mean two things: (1) ALL Bell facilities were NSA accessible. (2) NO Bell facilities would have been CIA accessible. (I'll expand somewhat,... later.). Meanwhile, if this works right, I'm including a web address: www.spectralumni.ca On "Black Friday"... Feb. 20/59, the Canadian Gov't cancelled the AVRO ARROW program. Two months later (Apr 22/59) a special crew moved in and physically shredded and destroyed every piece of all these state-of-the-art aircraft and all of the support documents. It was a total scorched-earth approach. Yes, you can ask...what's your point? Well, it's useful to have some backgrounding. The Canadian Prime Minister of the day, John Diefenbaker and President Kennedy hated each other. I met Diefenbaker once, he knew my name and my brother's connection, but in reality, it was your standard political farce. His "minder" was my Doctor, and John was being "fed"background(s)...My mom didn't raise any dumb kids. Moving on, the Canadian PM wouldn't allow Kennedy to place nuclear missles on Canadian soil that Canadians didn't control.
Even though I had low-grade access to the politics of the day, I never really got a definitive answer to what the US ultimatum was that forced the Canadian Gov't to cancel the AVRO ARROW program. There was one, and I'm not being a conspiracy theorist. It's old news. However, an all-weather interceptor that was brilliantly engineered (but not a US product), that with normal upgrades would have survived into the '90s, was lost. Of the 14,000 employees who lost their jobs, almost all were absorbed into the American aircraft/space program. The "Canadian" influence on the American Space Program is traceable by "freeing up" trained specialists; NASA had a large pool of needed specialists. The Moon landing on Jun 08/67 was a "nasty" joint effort. July 21/69 A day that should live in infamy is downplayed. An NSA intelligence ship in international waters, the Liberty, is attacked for hours on end by the Israeli Military. To this day, neither the state of Israel nor the government of the U.S. will admit to the obvious facts. I'll slip back into personal experiences: When I told you previously that Tommy Z. had said that he was the NSA officer of the watch when the USS Liberty ship attack occurred, and he had lost it, I believed him. When I watched him target a single person for some level of hiring or promotion, Terence M., a highly respected senior Engineer, who was now an MBA, I wondered. In the next several weeks and then months, Terrence said that Tommy Z. contacted him from Northern Telecom in Ontario, and then later from Texas. Terrence, when he was a very young professional, was a draughtsman for the AVRO ARROW program. I'm not a big believer in accidental happenings. If the NSA was dotting an "i" and crossing a "t", with respects to the possibility of held-back "secrets" of the AVRO ARROW project...OK, but what a waste of money. The inter-agency fight between the NSA and the CIA for turf would always give the NSA first pickings because the NSA is by far the biggest, meanest dog on the block. Before I permit myself some pure speculation, allow me to correct some statements. I stated that my retired RCAF uncle had landed his Beechcraft King on a country road years back. I'm embarrassed...the Beechcraft King is way too much aircraft for a gentleman farmer. It was a Beechcraft Bonanza and the records indicate he is still the registered owner. However, given his age, I'm going to hazard a guess that his only son Roger is the only registered pilot. Roger, if I have it correctly, is a senior staffer at Fermi Labs. (Roger Tokarek).
I'm typing this at night, so I just checked the date. It's April 21/2008. Today is the retirement date for the F-117. You'll appreciate that I have little faith in the "Bird of Prey" - a slow drone, "Tacit Blue" - a flying stealth lab (only), or the F-35B Lightning II - a 5th generation Harrier jump-jet. Let's be realistic: I'd forgotten how long ago it was that the "Skunk Works" folks were flying the F-117 at night only. We have to know that there's a new kid on the block, and it's not the F-35B. If I may refer back to my "data to repeat", the single repeated flying object (unidentified) is the triangle craft. I can remember years back of a report from Pravda.com (whose reliability is little more than a joke) of a triangle craft. Over the years, the triangle craft, in many settings remains standard and static. I'm beginning to feel comfortable in saying that the triangle craft, (perhaps in a variety of sizes), is domestic, and likely operational. I won't be at all surprised. OK, I'll save a "wow" or two, but only for effect. Don't let them attempt to embarrass your milieu by revealing their well-kept secret. I'd start to speculate early that the Triangle was American and it's shape came from the back of the one dollar bill. (if you're wrong, nobody would remember). By the way, when I said that my uncle has wrapped himself in the investigation of dark matter and dark energy that did not mean that he disallowed the concept of UFO's. Rather, considering his radar/electronic military specialty, he may well not consider the "U" in UFO's in the same light as others. Lifetime military oaths could still apply. YES, I'm waiting for part 2. Regards, EM |
