There was one, and I'm not being a conspiracy theorist. It's old news.

However, an all-weather interceptor that was brilliantly engineered (but not a US product), that with normal upgrades would have survived into the '90s, was lost. Of the 14,000 employees who lost their jobs, almost all were absorbed into the American aircraft/space program.

The "Canadian" influence on the American Space Program is trackable by "freeing up" trained specialists, NASA had a large pool of needed specialists. The Moon landing on Jun 08/67 was a "nasty" joint effort.

July 21/69 A day that should live in infamy is downplayed. An NSA intelligence ship in international waters, the Liberty, is attacked for hours on end by the Israeli Military. To this day, neither the state of Israel nor the government of the U.S. will admit to the obvious facts.

I'll slip back into personal experiences:

When I told you previously that Tommy Z. had said that he was the NSA officer of the watch when the USS Liberty ship attack occurred, and he had lost it , I believed him. When I watched him target a single person for some level of hiring or promotion, Terence M., a highly respected senior Engineer, who was now an MBA, I wondered.

In the next several weeks and then months, Terrence said that Tommy Z. contacted him from Northern Telecom in Ontario, and then later from Texas.

Terrence, when he was a very young professional, was a draughtsman for the AVRO ARROW program.

I'm not a big believer in accidental happenings.
If the NSA was dotting an "i" and crossing a "t",with respects to the possibility of held-back "secrets" of the AVRO ARROW project...OK, but what a waste of money. The inter-agency fight between the NSA and the CIA for turf would always give the NSA first pickings because the NSA is by far the biggest, meanest dog on the block.

Before I permit myself some pure speculation, allow me to correct some statements. I stated that my retired RCAF uncle had landed his Beechcraft King on a country road years back. I'm embarrassed...the Beechcraft King is way too much aircraft for a gentleman farmer. It was a Beechcraft Bonanza and the records indicate he is still the registered owner. However, given his age, I'm going to hazard a guess that his only son is the only registered pilot. His son, if I have it correctly, is a senior staffer at Fermi Labs.

I'm typing this at night, so I just checked the date. It's April 21/2008.

Today is the retirement date for the F-117. You'll appreciate that I have little faith in the "Bird of Prey" - a slow drone, "Tacit Blue" - a flying stealth lab (only), or the F-35B Lightning II - a 5th generation Harrier jump-jet.

Let's be realistic: I'd forgotten how long ago it was that the "Skunk Works" folks were flying the F-117 at night only.

We have to know that there's a new kid on the block, and it's not the F-35B. If I may refer back to my "data to repeat", the single repeated flying object (unidentified) is the triangle craft.
