It's been an eventful week for the EXTRA Campaign. I hope you are all doing well.
June 10 - I was out the door at 5:30 a.m. to catch a 7:30 a.m. direct flight to NYC. While sitting in the plane waiting to taxi out I was called by Steffen Tubbs and his co-host at KOA radio for a short interview to play a little later.
They were very kind in wishing me well on the trip. Within 90 minutes of arriving in NYC I was in the Letterman studio getting makeup put on me.
The interview with David Letterman was fun and seemed to go well by the reports I've been getting. A number of people in the UFO community who knew of
Letterman's style discouraged me from doing the interview. They seemed concerned that decades of fighting to gain credibility for UFO/ET research might be ruined. But my instinct was to just keep showing up where invited and speak the truth that I know without any attachment to the outcome. Even longtime disclosure advocates were shocked at how serious Dave was during the interview. It clearly indicated a great transformation is underway.
Dave's staff members were wonderful beyond belief and I was told he really liked the interview. He didn't know my question was coming at the end.

About 1/2 hour after I walked into my hotel that night a windstorm came up suddenly and something crashed outside my window on the street near where I had walked. So all guests were confined to the hotel for a while.
One Rocky Mountain News article even suggested that maybe it was not just wind but ...a UFO?
Channel 4 News in Denver showed a clip of the Letterman show and the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Daily News reported on it too.
June 11 - I was asked to stay until Saturday to do a live show with Geraldo Rivera for 4-5 minutes but had to get back to Denver. Family. So we taped the segment Thursday on my way to the airport via the Fox studio. It is part of Geraldo At Large and is supposed to play 6/14 or 6/15 in the evening. But I don't really know if it's on local Fox 31 or Fox cable.
Also June 11, I heard that "the package" from Aspen came which includes the information needed to start the design competition and submit and entry by July 18. That's going to take up some time but it fits well within the big picture.
