In new TV series project, secret government team explores unusual phenomena by Steve Hammons

“The series concept combines an exciting synergy involving U.S. military and intelligence people, who show themselves to be very human, with emerging and mysterious phenomena that fascinate millions of people around the world,” according to Robert M. Caruso, another writer and developer of the series.
These characters are dedicated to getting answers and understanding unusual things going on. They meet adversaries who don’t want them to succeed and pose dangerous threats,” said Caruso.
Unusual phenomena emerging from current research will be key parts of the proposed series.
According to physicist Hal Puthoff, Ph.D., "The interesting developments going on in physics lately have brought us to where science fact is outstripping science fiction. Wormholes and warp drives, quantum entanglement and teleportation, multidimensional universes – these are now standard fare in mainstream science journals.”
Puthoff is a theoretical and experimental physicist, former Navy intelligence officer, and president and CEO of the Austin, Texas, research firm EarthTech International, Inc.
“Based on this, phenomena that would have seemed outrageous even just a decade or two ago cannot now be rejected out of hand without careful scrutiny. The playing field of reality has expanded," Puthoff said.
NEXT STEPS
The series development phase will last throughout the summer. At the conclusion of that phase the development team will begin the process of pitching the project to prospective networks and producers.
Planning for the series includes consideration of the audience interest in shows like “The X-Files, “Medium,” “Stargate SG-1,” “JAG,” “NCIS” and other programs where investigators of various kinds are faced with new cases, adventures and mysteries in each episode.
Viewer interest will be key to the stories portrayed in the series, the project developers promise. Scientific accuracy and the connections to real-life research, phenomena and events will also be part of the show, they say.
Discoveries about things like ESP, time travel, teleportation, UFOs and other fantastic topics are being looked at more seriously by scientists, and these are the kinds of subjects that millions of people are interested in, according to the series’ writers.
