Everyone has an angle to thier story that they wish to push, let's get down to the truth. Government x and church y and industry z stand to loose power, influence and money if the truth comes out. We can't look to them for help. We must find the truth for ourselves, if it is ever to be found.

I trust Joe six-pack with nothing more to loose than his good name than anyone who is vested in either possible outcome. I think a camel passing through the eye of a needle applies to getting to heaven as well as truth telling, at least where this subject is involved. The more they stand to loose the less likely you are to get the truth.
