I hope I am not over my allotted number of posts. Nevertheless, I have waited what feels like eons to ask those with any sort of opinion about ETs this question: Who was first in the universe to invent the technology to visit other planets?
In this 13-billion-year-old universe, in its 13 billion years of evolution, there had to be SOME species on SOME planet to be the very FIRST to figure it out, hence, they had NO help from ANYone else.

Therefore, logically, there is no reason we humans would not be able to figure out the aliens' technology with no help from them. It is certainly apparent that the aliens deliberately do NOT want to help us out, are NOT revealing their technology.

My strongest criticism about the benefits of disclosure is that, even if all the governments of the world openly admit aliens visit us with amazing technology and even if they all open up their secret labs, that will not open up the alien technology to us. We humans will still have to go through the same number of years - 100s, millions - I don't know how many - of technological (and social) evolution that the aliens did to achieve their consciousness-machine-melding technology.

Nevertheless, things WILL be far better, socially, with an open, disclosed environment.
To counter the skeptic who claims "disclosure will never happen": not with THAT attitude, it won't! Yes, disclosure will happen sooner than later if more people take up the burden and stop fighting trivial causes such as "offensive" pornography or Hollywood movies. The more dislosurists there are, the less sacrifice and burden that the few hero disclosurists today will have.

According to that poster's logic, WWII was won by the Nazis, because they were an "impossible" force to overcome. And, the Soviet Union never collapsed. How many supposedly "impossible" acts will it take to make people learn that acts, which are "impossible" only because of stupidity by the masses, have ALWAYS been proven to be possible? Yes - the United States is no different than Rome or the Soviet Union in the property of invincibility: the US government and those in control of black budget projects will one day lose their power.

Your artical, from my interpertation. Aliens are out there. They are out there. I have seen a UFO and seen the being inside of it. I have a picture of the being in the caft. I sent it to MUFON and they called me back to get all of the details. People may not believe, But when the day comes. I hope they will not be as scared as I was when I saw this caft(it emitted a green flash as i took the picture). I think they do not want to do use any harm. The alien in the caft mocked me(as I moved my head side to side, to focus on the craft...it did the same. It was at night and the crsft was darker than the night sky..so, i strain to see the object...until I saw the head move side to side..on top of the craft). My point is, that people will believe or not. But, I know what i saw and took a picture of. They are out there and the one i saw didnt mean harm to me...but scared the shit out of me!!! To this day...I feel them ate times and sometimes I show them to friends(using the cmera phone...its sumthing about the infrared in the camera). you may not see anything with ur eyes,but the camera will pick up a light orb. To the people who read this, I'm not joking and just want people to know that we are not alone. And dont be scared if u come apond one...ask question in ur mind,find out what you want to know. Interesting article but actually much ado about nothing....As someone else already mentioned either you believe or you don't; everything else is just rhetoric...like the comment about Obama, PETA, religion, etc.

Regardless of all that, everyone should be aware that we now have two satellites orbiting the Moon. These should be at a height of about 60 miles (give or take) above the surface of that orb. So what are we looking for? Why so close to the surface now? Again, it does not matter. What should be of concern are the current plans to send what amounts to an explosive device down into a crater to produce an event powerful enough to eject material into the atmosphere to scan it for water.

Is that the truth? If it isn't then all those wanting proof of alien life may just get it.

The Governments know this from ET contact. It is the primary reason disclosure will not take place until the end of this cycle.

Ed should know all this by now. Why waste time dreaming of this ET guided paradise when your spirit has worked so hard to find itself exactly where it is right now, barefoot, in cutoff jeans, sitting on your front porch.

You speak of "inter-species warfare". You need to speak about the PRACTICAL issue of OUTLAWING BREEDING AND KILLING OF ANIMALS FOR FOOD.
Groups like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are doing practical things about getting people to change their consumer habits. More must be done, however, including the use of military and legal force.

This world needs to invest and research into biotechnologically engineering synthetic meat so animals will not need to be bred for food.

You also speak about generalities "ethical" races or species. As much as I support punishing 99% of humanity, it is wrong and useless to generalize and categorize all individuals into a group based upon easily identifiable properties: species, race, gender, age - yet not important properties: what each individual does, or what each individual would do, if not in the face of vehement opposition.

These decisions can practically and fairly be determined only by modelling with game theory and mathematically and computed on computer.

When I mean "mathematics", I do not mean numerology or astrology or any of that garbage.

Intelligent aliens with vastly superior technology do visit earth. None of that has anything to do with any fantasy religion garbage that humans have thought up (e.g. "bible", "god", Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, "koran"). Alien evolution and technology is consistent with the face of Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution.

Atheists have never hurt anyone. Until special tax breaks for religionist churches and theocracies are removed from earth in the US and Iran and all countries, general platitudes will do nothing.

Until we hear more, I have to take this with a grain of salt. It is all possible, of course. While I believe a cover up has existed, it is difficult to appear all parties operate with honor and integrity; and free of agenda.

Yes, the human species on the planet is in big trouble. But with such endless examples of manipulation and exploitation, what proof is there that this has suddenly ended.

A start would of course be with statements of the U.S President, followed by the UN Secretary General, and Presidents of major European countries, South American Presidents, the Russian President, African representatives, shamanic wise men etc..

Then one would have difficulty wondering why this information has been suppressed by the scientific community, particularly the astronomers; and the military. Then people would have to have a basis for parsing and evaluating which species are ethical, versus which are not. How can "conclusions" be believed when there has been so much lying and deception. What about matters of warfare between extraterrestrial civilization?

We would have to deal with the matters of abductions, crop circles, the matter of Gary McKinnon apparently discovering an exchange of observers or ambassadors between US military and representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations, and the immediate pardoning of Gary McKinnon for apparently discovering the truth of these exchanges. Further explanations of Men in Black, the Bennewitz Affair, crop extra-territorial terrestrial government by elites, and their manipulation of news and even warfare, perhaps even 9-11.

Have wars, Governments, and even economic events been controlled by extraterrestrials higher on the food chain the humans?

Formal introductions by extraterrestrial and extra-dimensional beings would be in order; and some limited interactions. Furthermore, military and civilians would have to be released from oaths to shut their mouths, and allowed to speak freely.

The existing controlled press would only undermine credibility. There has been so much over control, and deception involving the economy, and manipulation of the many by the few, there would quickly need to be a transformation to some type of open credible Government.

Further, explanations of the destruction of the ozone layer, magnetic earth and solar system changes, polar shifts, chemtrails, and kidnappings by human military type organizations, apparently as part of a battle plan with other civilizations, or in conjunction with them, would need to be explained.

Certainly, if this is an authentic communication, you are already well aware of all these issues and the thorny problems they present.

May an enlightened civilization arise, where beings do not prey on others. May deceit be conquered by genuine kindness and compassion. May all beings benefit.

Just couldn't help myself. I remembered a few of the comments from this article when reading elsewhere, and had to come back to be sure I was right about what I remebered and it struck me again, but this time I got the "Yeah, that's right, yeah Ed, definately!" going on.

And your article Ed, I really did like it. My opening sentence on the first comment I made was, "Nice article with excellent goals and ideology." And after poking at your American President statement, I said, "I have to say that the rest of the article sounds wonderful."

So, yes, I did like your article. Obviously I got sometbhing from it because I thought of it later and came back to it.

I especially like your reminder of what I believe is one of the more amazingly beautiful human traits, 'overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds'. That thought always gives me hope when nothing else does.

And I also liked the reminder of strong, positive ethics in relations with the 'alien visitors', and need for review of all past... relations.

I find it odd to name Eisenhower as the named president to point at for the "Who Blew It" blame.
Thats it blame the republican. Let me remind you that the National security State started under Truman (Democrat), and Eisenhower had to work with all the GSA schedule employees that Truman and his Democrates hired. Their opinion was to keep the Extraterrestrial problem secret. I am sure this was a hold over policy from Rosevelt. But Truman institutionalised it probably by hiring and emplacing like minded people to insure policy continuation regardless of the president. There is ample evidence thet there was some secrecy policy prior to WWII. The critical test was under Truman and not Eisenhower. Considering what Eisenhower had to work with, he and we were set up for failure with regard to public disclosure and any change to extraterrestrial policy.

My question is did the UN or the comity on this subject REALLY decide this or is this a hypothetical situation?? That part of the article is not clear, I hope you will elaborate further either in future articles or in a comment here!

The only reason I can't see the obama-nation making this speech is because he is in love way tooo much with his own butt. Telling the truth would destroy decades of power and control they have built over the public at large.

What do they have to loose by keeping the secret, our respect, our trust, a warm fuzzy feeling inside? Nothing they want or seem to care about very often.

What do they stand to loose if they tell the truth? Money, power, control, use of technologies the public thinks it's crazy to say even exists, and so many other things slimy politicians and thugs live their lives in pursuit of. Nope even if the blues are putting pressure on the world's true leaders to repent I think they would go out fighting for the ability to oppress us which they feel is their self given right. How many tyrants in our history have EVER peacefully given power back to the population they were oppressing?

So, what IF the blues are threatening to reveal themselves on a global scale then (as mentioned in previous articles)? Wouldn't that be suicide to resist a super advanced race who is angry at you? No more so than it was for Saddam to invade Kuwait, or for Marie to say "let them eat cake", or for Hitler to invade Russia. If we are to solve this problem I feel it will probably be with lead sweat and tears, rather than ethics, honor, and love. Anything is possible though.

UFOlogists should be careful when saying they are saying something of great importance to mankind and don't deliver. The Majestic documents saga has been around for many, many years.

What I am waiting for is someone to say they have something very important to reveal and then give us physical as well as video proof that aliens exist and are here on Earth...something that others have witnessed and also recorded and will be proof positive to even many doubters.

Which statement exactly? I have to say that the rest of the article sounds wonderful. But am frankly not very hopeful of the folks in control of this info, finally letting the facts out.
