Received a submission from Bill Gorman on June 3, 2009. Bill was down in Florida to witness and photograph the John Glenn's Flight; aboard the space shuttle Discovery (STS-95).
Bill lives in Klamath Falls, OR.

Bill wrote: Yes it was STS 95, I was across the Banana River at a Steak House and met Al Roker (see attached). It doesn’t seem it was that long ago, I was only in Florida for 4 months at that time. If you look closely you can make out a cockpit, 3 tail fins and 2 cylindrical engines. I believe the Air Force has a separate program. I think the donut clouds are related to the craft, a couple of quick bursts and it curved to the left out of the path of the shuttle. I only noticed it after I got the film developed, I believe any press and NASA cameras were zoomed in too close to pick up the craft and you know NASA would not release such an incident even if they did pick it up. I had written to MUFON in 2000 and never received a reply from them. Picture was taken with a Minolta X700 and Albinar 70-200 zoom lens (film).
