Telepathy is one aspect that Debra recognizes with intuition running a close second. She mentions one can get information from a perfect stranger. "Angels and other helpers abound if we will just put fears and preconcieve ideas aside and believe it is possible. Each of us is capable of making a connection on our own. In a very simple way that is what we do when we pray." states Debra.

Michel Green attended a metaphysical development circle and part of the circle was to learn how to channel. A few months later, on a Thursday, the leaders guide said they would be working directly with some of the people in the circle. The following Saturday several from the circle came to practice. Michel felt a strong energy go through her and heard the group leaders Guide's greeting in her mind. Since Michel didn't want to lose the connection and wanting a confirmation, she asked another person what they saw. They saw the same face and clothing involved as when the leader was channeling. As this was the confirmation being sought for, Michel let the message through.

Michael Starre says when the information starts to flow, it depends on the persons desire to heal and willingness to be open to the positive flow of energy.

What is life like in the spirit realm?

Micheal Starre recommends reading books by Ruth Montgomery and "We, the Arcturials" by Dr. Norma J Milanovich. These books have shown Michael some insight of what life is like on the other side.

Debra Louck's understanding of the other side is that it exists very differently than life as we know it. Because it is a spiritual energy form, there is no need to gather food or deal with things that keep us busy and away from Spirit.

A cause for concern is whether messages are geniune or something that the channeler wants to say or even make up.

Michel Green feels that since channelers can make up some messages, other can get caught up in ego or cause interfence. She feels a skeptical viewpoint can be used as a good tool to evaluate the message being given. The person is free to use what is good and discard what they feel is worthless. Michel suggests that if a channeler remembers specific details of a message for longer than a hour or two after a session, question the validity of what was said.

Debra Louck warns if someone is telling you that you must do this or that, the person is to think twice about the messenger and message. Debra continues by saying it's not Spirit's place to tell anyone what to do but to make suggestons and leave the decision making process up to the individual. "Free will is very much a part of our experience in this life. Don't be in a hurry to give away your power because of a message from outside yourself, whether it be channeled or not. Take a good look at the hype surrounding Y2K for a message that wasn't channeled but threw people into a frenzy."; warns Debra.
