There is One subject that remains "taboo" in mainstream media to this day is UFOs.
This is especially true when it comes to UFOs being sighted or photographed over Washington, D.C. After spending many years researching and reporting on UFOs, I thought I had seen it all. However, in the spring of 2005, I received an e-mail with photos of UFOs landing on Capitol Hill in July of 2002. My first thought was, "This can't be real. I would have heard about it by now." My next thought was to contact the photographer. Looking back, it was as if I had opened a "Pandora's Box" of UFOs related specifically to Washington, D.C.

Once I had gotten over my initial shock, I wrote an article that was published internationally by NEXUS magazine and on the Internet by UNICUS magazine. At the same time the article and a few photos were first released in July of 2005, I had a very strange close encounter with a black, unmarked military helicopter. Late that afternoon, I was busy working on the manuscript of my controversial new book, "Close Encounters on Capitol Hill." Suddenly, my house started shaking violently as a helicopter entered my neighborhood and began flying low circles above me.
This went on for a few minutes, so I walked outside to see what the hell was happening. You can imagine my surprise to see a black helicopter hovering over my driveway so low I could have hit it with a rock! I still have no idea what these people wanted. They loitered in my neighborhood for at least 5 minutes. This gave me enough time to run back inside and grab my camera and take a couple of photos of this odd intrusion. Although I was shaken up by the experience, I was determined to finish my research about UFOs over D.C. and publish my work.
