"Namely whether there is any evidence that the UK air space might have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised foreign military activity. Unless there is evidence of a potential threat to the United Kingdom from an external military source, and to date no UFO report has revealed such evidence, we do not attempt to identify the precise nature of each sighting reported to us. We believe that rational explanations such as aircraft lights or natural phenomena could be found for them if resources were diverted for this purpose but its not the function of the MoD to provide this kind of aerial identification service."

The MOD say that there is no evidence of these "alleged phenomenon" yet thousands have reported them including military personnel and pilots. They also say these objects are no threat to the United Kingdom and they have no evidence that suggests such a thread yet going back to 1980 and the events which occurred in Rendlesham Forest it is clear that there is a significant thread. If unknown objects can buzz around two military installations which some even say held nuclear weapons in my mind that is cause for concern. The MOD do not bother to offer an explanation for the events but still chose to label this "case closed" yet again but for all we know there could be an investigation underway behind the doors of Whitehall as we speak.

It should be noted that Birmingham Airspace which covers the area of the sighting reports no unusual radar activity the night of the sighting. This sighting certainly remains a mystery at the moment and it is an event which the witnesses will never forget.
