Chupacabras-A Cover Up Conspiracy?

Later in the month, the creature reappeared on the side of the road not to far from where the original sighting took place. The second sighting didn't last as long as the first one. At night, I passed the creature while driving southbound on I-75 near the Holly Road exit. I remember seeing the creature hopping on the side of the road while I was driving home. I immediately slowed down, swerved the car onto the side of the road and backed up. The creature was gone.

To make matters more bizarre, I have an odd memory from my childhood that is difficult to explain. During the early 80's when I was around 6 years old, I have a memory of me waking up in the middle of the night in my house because I heard a lot of noise coming from downstairs. I remember walking down the spiral staircase and towards the kitchen because the noise was coming from the garage attached to the kitchen. The kitchen door was attached to a small hallway with a bathroom that led to the garage door. I walked towards the kitchen and my mom was talking to officials wearing dark hats; some police were there too. My mom looked pale and shocked. I asked her what was going on. My mom seemed scared as she grabbed my hands and told me, "A kangaroo has escaped the local circus and it was in the garage". I heard officers yelling in the garage and It sounded like things were getting knocked over all over the place. I could see flashlights and emergency lights outside of the kitchen window. This made no sense to me; I didn't see dad and I felt like he was in danger. I asked my mom, "Where is dad and how can a kangaroo be in our garage?" My mom told me to go to bed. I remember going back to sleep and that is all. I think my sister eventually went downstairs during this event but I am not sure.

Recently, I asked my mom about this memory I had from my childhood. She told me that I misunderstood that event. She said she called the police because they found the garage door open when they came home from work. My mom thought a burglar might be in the garage and that's why the police were there in the garage. So, an event did take place and the explanation is different. Why I remember my mom telling me it was a kangaroo-could be a coincidence. The Chupacabra creature I witnessed had kangaroo-like qualities. Still, why did it sound like officers were yelling and knocking things down if all they were doing is making sure there wasn't a burglar?

In order to protect myself, my full name has not been revealed to the newspapers because I work in the public. If people I work with found out about my experience, it could result in me losing my job. I find solace talking to my fiancee about my experiences. However, as a civilian, I believe it is my duty to reveal the details of my Chupacabra encounter to the public.

I feel that many sightings are not reported because the witnesses are too scared or they just don't know who to talk to. I think humans have an astonishing ability to dismiss information that does not conform to their everyday, preconceived notions of reality. I have seen UFOs in the past so I was aware of the agencies that I could report my sightings to. I reported my two Chupacabra events to Nuforc, Mufon and other places in hopes of discovering others who may have witnessed something similar. I think I was looking for a good rational explanation for this. Sources told me that I have upset people by coming forth with my story.

After these experiences, I did some research and discovered that other people in various places all over the world have seen something similar to the creature I encountered. For hundreds of years, the world has given it various names and stories as to why it exists. Similar descriptions keep showing up in the sightings reported by other people. For example, people often report large glowing eyes(most commonly red in color), three fingers, dog or wolf-like face, jumps, kangaroo-like, long tail, muscular legs, human-like arms, and so forth. If other people are seeing creatures similar to the one I encountered then these experiences must be real.

I have always believed that the universe is stranger then we can ever imagine. Still, it's frustrating when you see a bizarre creature then lose contact with it. It would be nice to communicate with these beings-ask questions-get answers. When I passed this creature on the road, I really wanted to turn my car around and see if it was still there. I wanted to communicate with it really bad because I never seen anything like this creature before. However, I realized I was dealing with something unknown and it would not be safe to get out of the car and walk up to it. Although, the creature seemed intelligent, it could be a dangerous situation if it decided to attack me. Sometimes, I wonder what would have happened if I walked up to it. A part of me feels like I should have walked up towards it. I don't feel that this creature was an animal. It seemed supernatural, maybe an inter-dimensional being similar to an alien. Hopefully, I can find out what all of this means someday.

I dont wanna sound rude, but so what people saw a strange looking animal that science doesn't know about yet? We all know that there are hunderds of undiscovered animals out in the world, its not even something surprising, so why do people need to come up with weird 'alien'/'monster' crap, its just a damn animal, probably some weird specie of kangaroo or a lemur/monkey, i don't see how anyone could even begin to think the word 'alien' when looking at that thing, it clearly looks like soemthing you'd be likely to find in a rainforest peeling skin off a banana, not wanting to sound offensive, but people need to get rational sometimes, its not an interdimensional alien or a time travelling nature spirit, its just an animal.

Chupacabra in Poland

From about one year the Chupacabra(S???) is killing animals in Poland. Maybe even 200 animals were killed. I give you some links to check.

We saw the same thing!!

My friend and I were traveling back to Gaylord when we were about a 2 miles south of the west branch rest area and we saw a white/grayish possibly hairless creature with red eyes and it had a long tail just as you described only, a little smaller, like maybe 3 feet, and it had the large rounded ears that stood up like a mouse... The face was a little like a dog, but the nose and front pointed like a cat... We both said "WHAT THE H*** IS THAT!!" It stopped at the edge of the freeway and looked at us and just stared us down like it wasn't even scared!, we slammed our brakes because we didn't know if it was going to run out in the road- it didn't. But, for the rest of our trip we were scratching our heads and freaking out about what it could have been.

Don't fear this creature

I want to advise everyone to not focus on feeling afraid after reading my story. This creature didn't attack me or my car. I didn't want to scare anyone with my story but it's hard not to. It may have been some interdimensional alien creature that we don't fully understand yet. :-)

Well, that does it...I'm never going outside again at night, except at a dead run for the car. My dad always told me "night is daylight without the light", but I never quite believed him. It's very creepy at night where he lives. Lots of weird animal noises, the dogs are used to it and hardly bark at all anymore. I'm not a city person, I live on a farm myself, but where he lives, it's somehow different...

kangaroo like creature

cant be a kangaroo because it's grey,where i come from, Australia,the kangaroos are grey,if the police where trying to catch it,it would be jumping around like crazy knocking what ever was in it's way over,which could explain all the noise,and when lights shine in their eyes they glow,but I'm not sure what color.

i totaly belive your story man. i have one experience as a kid with supernatural things. i was at my friends place, was about 5-6 pm. he had his curtains pulled down when i sudenly saw a white shade moving outside the house. ( frankly it looked like a munk almost). we raned out, nothing. i didn't tell anybody they wouldn't belive me. BUT several years later another friend who lives in the area told me by coinsidence that he saw something similar through his binocular when they where playing in the nerby forest. same forest as i saw the white shadow.

i tell you, that forest is hounted :(
