The Great Pyramid And The Holy Bible
by Stephane Wuttunee

Posted: 14:23 July 31 2009

So many references to the Great Pyramid lay dormant within the Bible's pages that it seems surreal that they have managed to stay hidden for so long. And yet they have. In a previous (and short) article entitled Egypt's Great Pyramid: Built to Represent the Human Body, it was outlined how the human body and the Great Pyramid share much in common in terms of esoteric and religious symbolism. Because things will get pretty hectic from here on, reviewing that article first may be a good idea in order to fully understand the concepts presented here. Also keep in mind that since the original Bible was written in Aramaic, I will use the English version that is the closest to the original source material. Of course, that means we'll be using the King James version.

And off we go.

An Altar In The Land Of Egypt.

"In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt..."
Isaiah 19. V 19.

Therefore we said, 'Let us now build an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice: but that it may be a witness between us, and you, and your generations after us.
Joshua 22. V 26.

Besides its description as an altar, the interesting thing to note in regards to the Great Pyramid, is that unlike regular altars where offerings and sacrifices are expected to take place, this altar was instead meant to be a legacy for future generations and transcend time itself (as the Pyramid certainly has done well). In other words, whoever designed and built the structure knew that it would fulfill a greater purpose in a distant time period. That purpose is unknown at this point, but perhaps that time period is upon us - especially as we approach (groan…yes, I'm going to say it) the end of the Mayan calendar. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Missing Capstone.

Heated exchanges in regards to the Pyramid's missing capstone have always existed. Why isn't it there? Was it put into place at one point and then removed? Was it stolen? Let's quickly present the following biblical passage for insight:

Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
Mathew 21. V 42.

There are two ways that the builders might have rejected the Pyramid's capstone: either the stone was placed and it was subsequently removed or destroyed, or else it simply wasn't put there to begin with. My bet is that it was the latter, and the idea isn't without precedence. In fact, the founding fathers of America already knew this and used this symbolism to design and build the Great Seal of the United States of America (I'm Canadian by the way, so please don't take my writing as patriotic zeal). The nation's founding fathers put the Great Pyramid and its ethereal or fiery capstone smack dab on the back of the American dollar bill. The main idea to retain here is that the capstone is indeed there on the Pyramid, but it was never meant to be visible. Instead, it was designed and meant to be invisible and spiritual. Alright, some may say. So what's the purpose behind an invisible capstone? Why have it at all? The short answer may please (and displease many): the capstone signifies Christ itself. Now, if one can accept that, the obvious question becomes: what exactly is Christ or the capstone overseeing?
