According to Benny Shanon, a cognitive psychologist teaching at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Moses was under the influence of drugs when he heard God deliver the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai. And so were the Jews accompanying him. The funny theory was published on the 5th of March 2008 in the British journal Time and Mind and spread around the world.
In his opinion, two plants that grow in the Sinai Peninsula contain psychedelic substances similar to the hallucinogens still used today in the Amazonian jungle, a drink called ayahuasca being extracted from these plants.
Benny Shanon thinks that the descriptions of Exodus - lights, thunders, trumpets – are classic images told by people under the influence of drugs. Professor Shanon admitted that he used such substances in the Amazonian jungle, in 1991, and experimented visions with religious connotations.
Here are a few of his ‘arguments’ as expressed on Radio Israel:
“As far as Moses on Mount Sinai is concerned, it was either a supernatural cosmic event, which I don’t believe, or a legend, which I don’t believe either, or finally, and this is very probable, an event that joined Moses and the people of Israel under the effects of narcotics […] in advanced forms of ayahuasca inebriation the seeing of light is accompanied by profound religious and spiritual feelings […] I experienced visions that had spiritual-religious connotations.” It would be interesting to know if Benny Shanon is still experiencing this sort of visions.
In the following lines I will also present a few pieces of information from the Bible refering to the events lived by Moses and the Jews, of which, so many people retain only a burning bush. Sad but true.
1) Moses frequently met the angel/ spaceship of God – Yahweh/ Anu – on Mount Sinai and in other locations:
a) Moses was tending his flock when they first met and he wasn’t on drugs at all. There is no mention in the Bible whatsoever that the Jews were walking around while being high on drugs. “Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God (God is a Hebrew plural which refers to the Anunnaki/ Elohim – their spaceships frequently landed on that mountain – A/N). There the angel (the spaceship – A/N) of the Lord (Yahweh/ Anu – A/N) appeared to him in flames of fire from a bush (a description in the terms of their times – A/N). Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up (the projectors of the spaceship – A/N). So Moses thought, ‘I will go over and see this strange sight - why the bush does not burn up.’
When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, ‘Moses! Moses!’
And Moses said, ‘Here I am.’
‘Do not come any closer,’ God said ‘Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground. (The Russian academician Alexander Mikulin explained this request: the appearance of a spaceship is associated with a series of extremely intense electrical fields, their negative effects can only be removed by ‘earthing’, respectively, in Moses’ case, walking barefoot – A/N) (Exodus 3:1-5).
b) A new landing of Yahweh/ Anu’s spaceship:
“On the morning of the third day there was thunder and lightning, with a thick cloud (the spaceship – A/N) over the mountain, and a very loud trumpet blast (the spaceship’s engines – A/N) […] Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, the whole mountain trembled violently, and the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder. Then Moses spoke and the voice of God answered him.” (Exodus 19:16-19).
c) Yahweh/ Anu’s spaceship was guiding the Jews:
“By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.” (Exodus 13:21, 22).
d) Moses spent 40 days inside Yahweh/ Anu’s spaceship. His description is identical with the descriptions given by Enoch, Ezekiel, Daniel, John and other biblical prophets: “They saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself […]
Now the Lord said to Moses, ‘Come up to Me on the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandment which I have written for their instruction.’[…] Then Moses went up to the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.
The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days […] And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top.
Moses entered the midst of the cloud as he went up to the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” (Exodus 24:10-18).
“When He (Yahweh/ Anu – A/N) had finished speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, He gave Moses the two tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written by the finger of God (the Elohim used laser engraving technique – A/N).” (Exodus 31:18)
e) Moses is assured that the Anunnaki/ Elohim’s spaceships would help him in his battles:
“I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you.” (Exodus 23:28).
f) Moses and Yahweh/ Anu were also speaking when He descended with a private flight craft in the middle of the people of Israel, the Jews being animated by holly worship, not by the influence of drugs.
“Whenever Moses entered the tent, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; and the Lord would speak with Moses.
When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people would arise and worship each at the entrance of his tent.
Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, just as a man speaks to his friend.” (Exodus 33:9-11).
g) Yahweh / Anu showed Moses his glory/ spaceship:
“Then Moses said, ‘I pray You, show me Your glory!’
And He said, ‘I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you […] But He said, ‘You cannot see my face, for no man can see Me and live!’ (a reference to the forepart of the spaceship charged with various physical fields; Moses had already met Yahweh/ Anu – A/N). Then the Lord said, ‘Behold, there is a place by Me (confirmation of the above said: they were sitting side by side – A/N), and you shall stand there on the rock (protection against the respective fields, Moses not having Yahweh/ Anu’s equipment – A/N); and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand away (protection means – A/N) and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen.” (Exodus 33: 18-23).
h) During the entire period – 40 years – of their travels through the desert the Jews have been guided by the glory/ cloud/ spaceship of Yahweh/ Anu:
“In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out – until the day it lifted. So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, during all their travels.” (Exodus 40:36-40).
i) Before his death, Moses was again taken into the spaceship of Yahweh/ Anu who showed him the Country that He would give to the Hebrews. Then Moses died and Yahweh/ Anu buried him: “Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land […] And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said. He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is.” (Deuteronomy 34: 1, 5-6).
There is a possibility that Moses phisicaly died and in this case his corpse was taken aboard the spaceships of the Anunnaki. Another possibility is that he didn’t actually died, but was taken on the Planet of the Gods, the same as it has happened with Enoch, when the Anunnaki connected his spiritual body to a new phisical body. Remember that approximately 1500 years later, Yahweh/ Anu appeared on the Mount of Olives in front of Jesus and his apostles with the same glory/ spaceship, which carried Moses and Elijah aboard, the latter one being taken up into the skies, too:
“Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John the brother of James […] just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus […] a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” (Matthew 17:1-5).
2) The communication between Moses and other Hebrew leaders with the spaceships of the Anunnaki/ Elohim was possible using the Ark, the Ephod and even some cerebral implants.
3) Due to the lack of an adequate documentation, the extraordinary events that took place during the life of Moses are seen by many as “miracles”. Having already discussed the presence of an extremely advanced civilization on Earth, I will try, as much as I can, to provide a correct explanation; let’s begin with the 10 plagues sent against the Egyptians to determine them to release the sons of Israel. Here are the biblical chapters and verses where you can read about this issue.
* Turning waters into blood (Exodus 7:14-25) – the spaceships and the Anunnaki/ Elohim can act both materially (seen) and spiritually (unseen), in a universe parallel to ours, being able to change the structure of the matter. So to color the waters was not difficult for them, the easiest way would be to throw some colored substances into the water from the spaceships. Another way to use the device – the staff – Moses received from Yahweh/ Anu, after he had thrown away his own. (Exodus 4:3).
* The invasion of frogs (Exodus 8:1-15) – The frogs could have been synthesized inside the spaceships and/ or taken out of the Nile using intentionally provoked storms.
* The gnats (the mosquitoes) (Exodus 8:16-19) – The insects could have been synthesized inside the spaceships and/ or attracted by eliminating certain chemical substances.
* The flies (Exodus 8:20-32) - These insects could have been synthesized inside the spaceships too, and/ or attracted by eliminating certain chemical substances.
* The livestock plague (Exodus 9:1-7) – Bacteriological weapons were used this time. The livestock of the Jews didn’t die, which proves an extremely elaborate genetic processing of the bacillus, pest or plague.
* Unhealable boils (Exodus 9: 8-12) – The bacteriological weapon was used again to generate „boils”, a generic term refering to a series of infectious deseases as smallpox, chickenpox or scarlet fever, and the same elaborate genetic processing of the viruses, because only the Egyptians and their livestock suffered.
* Hail mixed with fire (Exodus 9: 13-15) – Hail storms and lightnings. It was a time when the planet Eris was coming close to Earth and it could also be a local change of the meteorological conditions, a process directed from the Anunnaki’s spaceships.
A more powerful bacteriological weapon (adapted from Egyptian DNA) could have been used but the Egyptians were spared:
“This is what the Lord, the God of Hebrews, says […] ’For by now I could have stretched out my hand and struck you and your people with a plague that would have wiped you off the earth.” (Exodus 9:15).
* The locusts (Exodus 10:12-20) - could have been synthesized inside the spaceships and/ or attracted by eliminating certain chemical substances.
* 3 days darkness (Exodus 10:21-29) – The darkness could have happened because of the planet Nibiru coming closer to Earth (extreme meteorological phenomena), although the maximum effect, i.e. the Earth’s rotation upon its axis ceased, took place later, during the time of Joshua. This was rather a local phenomenon generated from the gods’ spaceships. The fact that there was light over the places of the children of Israel was because of the spaceships projectors.
* The death of the Egyptians first-born children (Exodus 12:29) – The biological age of men and animals could have been easily found out from the spaceships. Then their first-born children were killed with a laser-like weapon or other techniques still unknown on Earth, for example instantly disconnecting the spiritual body from the physical one. The Jews were protected because they had the upper door sills and pillars stained with blood, the spaceships computers easily detecting it.
After these plagues were sent upon them, the Egyptians decided to let the Jews free, but then they changed their mind and went on chasing the Jews. The Egyptians were stopped by Yahweh/ Anu’s spacecraft (Exodus 14:19-20) who also destroyed their fight chariots (Exodus 14:24-25).
Crossing the Red Sea on an area of approximately 5 km width was possible because of a powerful electromagnetic field applied from aboard the spacecraft, which made the waters stand as a wall. Cutting out the magnetic field after the Jews’ crossing led to the waters falling down on the Egyptians (Exod 14:21-31).
* Arriving at Mara, the Jews couldn’t drink water because it had a bitter taste. Let’s see what happened:
“Then Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.” (Exodus 15:25).
The Anunnaki/ Elohim thrown down to Moses a device for water treatment to turn it into potable water.
* The manna eaten by Jews in the desert for 40 years was also thrown down from the spaceships. The quails were brought by means of storms intentionally provoked from the spaceships.
“Then the LORD said to Moses, ‘I will rain down bread from heaven for you […] While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the LORD appearing in the cloud […] that evening quail came and covered the camp. When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor […] the people of Israel called the bread manna. It was like coriander seed and tasted like wafers made with honey […] The Israelites ate manna forty years, until they came to a land that was settled; they ate manna until they reached the border of Canaan.” (Exodus 16:1-36).
Joshua’s book confirms that the delivery of manna from the Anunnaki/ Elohim’s spaceships ceased as soon as the Jews arrived in Canaan. The obvious proof of this conscient action coordinated by the Elohim:
“The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan.” (Joshua 5:12). King David knew that the manna was provided by the gods/ Anunnaki/ Elohim, as well as the winds that brought the quails:
“Yet He commanded the clouds above
And opened the doors of heaven;
He rained down manna upon them to eat
And gave them food from heaven.
Man did eat the bread of angels;
He sent them food in abundance.
He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens
And by His power He directed the south wind.
When He rained meat upon them like the dust,
Even winged fowl like the sand of the seas
Then He let them fall in the midst of their camp,
Round about their dwellings.” (Psalms 78: 23-28).
The Elohim supervised the Jews, took care of them and gave them food, they weren’t a people of drug addicts as Benny Shanon presented them with the help of international mass-media. * While in Horeb, the Jews didn’t have water. Moses smote the rock with the device – „the staff” – received from Yahweh/ Anu and water came out of it. (Exodus 17:6).
* From his spacecraft, Yahweh/ Anu consumed the offering given by the Jews in his honor:
“Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting. When they came out and blessed the people the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.
Then fire came out from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the portions of fat on the altar; and then all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.” (Leviticus 9:23-24).
* Punishment was enforced when the strict rules of worshiping weren’t observed:
“Nadab and Abihu […] offered strange fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them.
And fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LOR.” (Leviticus 10:1-2).
* Those who mocked Moses and the Jews observing the orders received from Yahweh/ Anu didn’t live a happy life. Let’s see the end of the rebellion led by Korah, Dathan and Abiram:
“Thus Korah assembled the entire congregation against them at the doorway of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation […] the ground that was under them split open […] the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly […] fire also came forth from the Lord and consumed the two hundred and fifty men […] But on the next day all the congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron…the cloud… the glory of the LORD appeared […] wrath has gone forth from the LORD, the plague has begun […] but those who died by the plague were 14,700, besides those who died on account of Korah.” (Numbers 16:1-50).
