'Hank,' Lola's brother, is a down to earth, no nonsense person. A down to earth person he knows what he's seen, and so doesn't deny it. It takes a brave person to stand by the weird things they've seen and experienced; it's easier to rationalize it away and pretend it didn't really happen.

Hank has had many experiences involving ghosts, and also Bigfoot. And one strange one involving an entity; whether or not it was a ‘ghost' is hard to say, but he didn't think it was.

He was on the couch in the living room. Hearing a noise on the deck, he looks over, and sees two MIB types, with notebooks, peering in. Naturally this startles him. For one thing, the house is off the road a bit, down a long driveway, in a semi-rural area. There are homes all around, but it's the kind of place that you intend to go to, and anyone in the house would hear any car driving down that long driveway. then the people would have to park, and walk around to the back of the house, to stand on the deck. There are also a of dogs, as well as a lot of people around, so the chances of someone just appearing like that are extremely slim.

'Hank' looks over at the two beings; they look at him, seemingly startled to see Hank looking at them, as Hank is looking at them! He hears one of them say 'Shhh, you don't want him to see us,' and they jot something down in the notebook before disappearing into thin air.

(It's also curious Hank 'heard' them say that about seeing him, since it would have been difficult, though not impossible, to hear a voice through the glass door a room away.)

This house where Hank saw the beings has a long history of haunted activity. The house is built on Native American camping/hunting grounds, indeed, the entire road is 'haunted.'
