“The whole earth has been filled with blood and unrighteousness and now, behold the souls of those who have died are crying out and making their suit to the gates of heaven and their lamentations have ascended and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are wrought upon the Earth.”
According to Enoch as stated by Thomas, God was angry at the Watchers for the horrible practices that they had introduced on the Earth. They had taught certain cosmic secrets to their sons the Nephilim. They had devoured one another’s flesh and drank their blood. This cannibalism shocked even the depraved citizens of earth. Enoch was instructed by the Most High to deliver a warning to the Watchers.
“Enoch, Thou scribe of righteousness, go and deliver to the Watchers of Heaven who have left the high heavens, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with earthly women. They have wrought great destruction on earth and they shall have neither peace nor forgiveness of sin.”
The Watchers then approached Enoch to mediate on their behalf. God rejected this and instructs Enoch to tell them that they will have no peace for their efforts.
God then tells Enoch to give Noah the message that He is going to destroy the Earth.
“I (God) will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the land “(Genesis 6:7).
“And angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper abode, He (God) has kept them in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day” (Jude 6).
“For God did not spare angels when they sinned but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness (Tartarus) reserved for judgment” (2 Peter 2:5).
These angels went after “strange flesh” (human) against the will of God just as some men did in Sodom and Gomorrah (homosexual) and were destroyed (Jude 7).
Thus according to the Bible and the Book of Enoch and other extra biblical texts, God cast the fallen angel Watchers into prison (Tartarus) for their sins and their hybrid offspring, the Nephilim were not to be resurrected but were to wander as spirits over the Earth forever.
“The dead will not live; the deceased spirits (Hebrew: Rephaim, i.e. Nephilim) will not rise” (Isaiah 26:14).
What sounds like a plot out of the X-Files TV show, God had to get rid of the alien (fallen angel) DNA that had commingled with human DNA. Only Noah and his family had pure human DNA. God thus considered them righteous (Genesis 6:8-9). God needed a pure bloodline for the Messiah Jesus. God wiped out all other people in the Great Flood.
“Thus He blotted out every living thing that was on the Earth (Genesis 7:23).
This was to be in the year of 461 Annus Mundi which Bishop Usher later calculated to be in 3543 BC.
