It remained at a forward and downward angle for about 10 seconds. We both had the sensation of being watched. As it was angled, I noticed that light was emanating from the upper section that was not facing the swimming pool lights. Thus, it seemed to generate light through skin of the craft as the lights that first attracted me faced forward and was much lower than the upper section of the craft.
"My wife and I did not say anything to each other during the experience but she kept saying "oh my God" over and over again. The craft then left slowly at 30-40 MPH. I jumped on a wall around our property to continue seeing for at least 7-miles. I instructed my wife not to discuss it, to draw what she saw and then we would compare drawings. They matched, although mine had more detail and accuracy" adds Ed.
He has a background that includes working with Group Propulsion Systems and later as an executive with several major computer companies. "What we saw was close, real, solid, and a beautiful designed craft. I know from my aeronautical engineering background that mankind has no such technology", he concludes.

Ed Towers is certified in Group Propulsion Systems and has studied aeronautical engineering and business management. He was an executive in computer companies, a cofounder of an international management consulting company serving large European companies, and a real estate investor. He is now retired.
Update: September 20, 2009:
One thing that perhaps I failed to tell you at the time we reported our
experience to you was that I contacted SETI year after and ended up
arguing with someone who had a high position. This person denied the
possibility that earth was being visited. It seemed as if he was more
interested in squashing reports and did not have an open scientific
mind. I felt that he was like a government agent arguing against
possibility. This was a surprise to me.
Another issue was my discussions with a NASA researcher who said he was
NASA researcher for airport automation planning studies, at least that
is what he claimed. There were several conversation by phone and e-mail.
He called me and I called hi to verify that he actually worked at NASA.
He was highly interested in our report and asked numerous detailed
questions about the craft.
From all report that I read it seems that we were the closest to a craft.

I understand that it is o.k. to talk about it now but at the time we were NOT to speak of it. I say that because I can still remember the neighbor telling us about the craft being seen and the teachers all talking about it at lunch break at one of the schools in the area. I said. "Oh we saw that."... She then said " Just when did you see it you never said anything and you tell me everything!" My voice said "We do not talk about it." and it was said by my voice in such a way that the matter was dropped and today she has no memory of the events she was telling of or any recall of me saying that..
(Not that someone forgeting a conversation they had 30+ years ago is strange.) BUT the fact that I still to this day do not remember our daughter being with us. We saw just what he wrote you about at tree top level. I can only recall the silver/white shimmery type of look it had I would have to be "put under" to tell any more.
