Are these two phenomenon closely related? Is it coincidence? I feel this is the question that needs to be answered. If you have looked at and researched many UFO sightings as I have you will see the first question to hold many possible relations. Whitley Strieber, his immediate family, and even some of his close friends recalled strange apparitions that took place where he and his family resided all during Mr. Striebers' struggle with what he believes to be his being abducted by a race of aliens from another place or time. The late Betty and Barney Hill encountered poltergeist type activity in their home soon after their reported abduction and encounters with aliens. Ed Walters of Gulf Breeze, Florida and his family confronted similar activity during the UFO experiences that they had encountered beginning in 1988. Ed had likened his experiences to that of "poltergeists".
I know what much of the general public may be saying at this statement. "Gulf Breeze?" "That's a big crock isn't it?" "That was proved a hoax, wasn't it?" The answer to that question in my opinion is no, however I do think this case suffered much misinformation and propaganda which did just what it was supposed to do and that is to mislead the public into thinking Gulf Breeze was just a farce. There is much more fact pointing to the authenticity of the Gulf Breeze sightings that was left uncovered I think due to all of the misleading lies that became intertwined with the original story, but this is par for the course when it comes to all UFO reports, isn't it? Haven't we learned anything about false information coming from outside people whose intent and existence is to discredit authentic reports? I am not sure we have.
There are other cases of apparitions and ghostly images related to UFO accounts. Creatures that are reported as 'glowing' or 'transparent' have been reported countless times. This was the case of the 'Flatwoods Monster' and also of the 'Mothman' sightings. The reported beings have been likened to what we call ghosts in many ways other than mere appearance alone. They have been reported to pass through walls, float as if in mid-air, and also walk without making a sound or leaving the first foot impression on the ground. They have also been reported to vanish into thin air. I think you would agree that the case for aliens, UFO's, and ghosts being related is being made.
We now can see how these two phenomenons are closely related in many instances. They share many, upon many attributes. If they are of the same, then what are they and what group of phenomenon can we place them in? Should we place ghosts, UFO, and alien sightings all in the same category? Why not? It is infeasible I think. Regarding UFOs and aliens I have a huge case to make, as do many other researchers, and that is that all of these anomalies are related in some way with the spirit world. This would surely include ghosts. Look how many times UFO's or entities are reported without having any concrete evidence left behind of their presence among us as stated above. Is this why we are unable to obtain the 'Smoking Gun' evidence? Numerous times these anomalies are reported without a shred of physical evidence left for anyone of us to study or recover, why is this the case? Many researchers will say it is because higher authorities rush to the scene and confiscate such physical evidence way before anyone else can respond. To me this does not seem reasonable in all cases and simply does not hold much water. I think the answer is still the same, there is no credible physical evidence left at any event sighting that can be distinguished because it possibly originates from another realm or dimension. Yes there are sometimes 'trace' evidence that is located but nothing ever that is of tangible evidence is ever removed from the scene and found to be genuine 'alien' materials. There are some natural elements found in higher quantities and concentrations at times in reported crash or landing sites of UFO's that are not normally found in large quantities or concentrations here on earth, but lets face it this alone proves nothing of an extraterrestrial presence on earth nor does it disclose an origin of such activity no matter how much we would want it to.
Yes people see these anomalies, photograph blurred images, and are able to perceive disturbances during such encounters, but like the UFO phenomenon that we are talking about, that is all we have to make our case definite. In many cases people are just not ready or prepared for such events to happen because they can happen without warning and nearly always unexpectedly. I mean who walks around all day with a movie recorder or a camera draped around their necks all day long? The answer is no one does, although it might help, this is unreasonable isn't it? On the other hand like described above, we do have events that are captured on video and by camera at times however, these images are almost always a blurred mess where photographs are concerned and the objects structure from the image we have is left up to each individual's perception as to what it actually is. This is not proof at all it is pure and simple speculation. Talking about photographs, the only photos that were ever taken that myself as well as others believe to be the best photos ever taken of an unidentified flying object are the Trent photos taken in Oregon in the 1950's. These photos are clear as glass with only a slight hint of any blurring. The saucer shaped craft that was photographed is astonishing and it has been studied for years and has never been ruled a hoax, even by the 'Condon Committee' a group depending on who you ask, that was put in to existence to debunk all UFO activity completely! This group researched this particular photo and report along with other UFO reports in the United States. Although it hasn't been ruled a hoax and what we actually see in the photo is exactly what Mr. Trent saw and photographed through the view finder of his camera that day, no one will admit to its possible extraterrestrial origin nor to its legitimacy. We all know that aircraft such as the one in this photo did not exist in the 1950's and neither does it today, but there it is in the photograph! How then can anyone denounce its existence? It is still listed with most all other photographs and reports that could not be labeled as a genuine hoax as simply an unknown. Why?
