I can't remember if Cissy or I ever went back to the "ruins", again. I do recall a time much later, when I was quite a bit older. You see, they had built a housing project on that particular site.

     Well, I had seen "The Amityville Horror" movie a couple of times. Cissy and I often talked about those houses that were built right over the top of the "ruins". We would sometimes wonder just what went on there, because nobody ever lived there, long.

     We thought that maybe somebody was trying to tell us something that day we heard the knocking from the cellar door. Was an evil spirit or something trying to get out? Was anyone that lived in a house on that property, safe? Well….what do you think?
