We've all heard that before.... but how much thought have we really given it? Today, the science community does it's best to explain the unknown to their credit. But there seems to be a willing disconnect when it comes to using certain data when formulating their theories and opinions. This is truly unfortunate, their bias’ are their blinders, and thus stunts the search for the truth. This is a story about the search for our historic truth, and what I found many years ago....

At a very, very young age, I was introduced to the world of UFOlogy by a father who was obsessed by it. I am fifty years old now, and have not lost my complete and objective interest in the subject. I also have a mother that, at least in my eyes, is as true a Christian as one can be. These two parents instilled in me what would seem to be two totally different and opposing philosophies. In those years since, I have found they are more related than most would think. In my late teens, I was on my own and in the service, and started a religious quest. The faith I had grown up within housed pastors that could not answer a child’s questions... let alone a young mans. I found that all other conventual’s religions that I searched out were no different.

With no other Christian religion to turn to for answers I turned to the only one left. I dropped to my knees and earnestly ask the Lord for help with my quest. There was no miracles, no magic writing on the wall, no angel with all the answers.... but something did happen. I had decided to read the Bible for myself without any minister, pastor, or priest to interpret it for me. To read it as a history book, as a science book.... and not as a religious book that usually comes with the same set of blinders that secular scientists have issued to them by secular institutes of learning. As I started reading from Genesis 1:1, I realized that I was understanding the words of the Bible in a completely new way.... and in just a few verses of that first chapter.... I discovered something amazing. Something hidden within two very short, misunderstood, and often overlooked verses.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament, and it was so. Genesis 1:6, 7

There has always been a bit of scientist and historian in me, so it was surprising that those simple verses jumped out at me with a new understanding of what they meant. Biblical translations and misinterpretations.... be that as they may, but I understood what was being said clearly. Let the “atmosphere” separate the waters on the Earth from the waters above the Earth. If this is so.... where was the proof of it? Surely the One who was providing this information would also provide the proof of such a environment. As I read on.... I found the bits of proof that made this "theory" a reality. Little did I know back then that those two verses would take me on a "journey" that would last many year’s. To explain this "theory"... it would actually take a full length book, but I will endeavor to explain it here in much shorter terms.
