6) Scientific proves have recently surfaced (on February 1st, 2007, www.techno-science.net) to confirm the above statements. A German - British team of astro - biologists, led by Professor Dieter Stoffler, trying to test the possibility of life transfer between Mars and Earth, simulated the impact of a planet with an asteroid in a laboratory, subsequently determining that some micro - organisms survived the impact. After an important impact, some planets can send to one another rocks which can carry these micro- organisms, provided that they are placed on their interior to be protected and assured a safe landing. Cornelia Meyer, a researcher in the above mentioned team, tested the surviving conditions for the micro- organisms and lichens protected in rocks similar to those on Mars and in the extreme environmental conditions of traversing the space. They have proved to be "amazingly resistant" under a pressure of 50.000 to 500.000 atmospheres and temperatures up to 1000 Celsius degrees. In this way, the transfer of life between relatively close planets was demonstrated.
7) Even more recently, on the 25th of April 2007, the world found out about a habitable planet (Gliese 581c), similar to our planet, and on the 1st of June, 2007, the discovery of 28 other extra - solar planets has been announced. And this only the beginning! (PHOTO 13)
